Most Feared is Seattle by far; Michael Bennett will line up on Doug free and wreck havoc on us; Pete hS never lost to a rookie QB. DangerRuss is extremely hard to contain. Fright Meter 10 out of 10.
2. The Giants- they know how to stop our run game and Eli manning always finds a way to win in the playoffs. Fright Meter 9 out 10
3. Atlanta Falcons- best offense in football by a country mile, Julio Jones has been unstoppable this year.
Fright Meter 7 out of 10
The Seahawks are a good defensive team and a so-so team on offense. I don't at all get the 10/10 "fright meter" rating.
Hawks are 2-4-1 on the road (if we play them, it'll be at our place...if it's not, we're in deep do-do anyway). They struggle when not at home (we're 6-1 at home).
Bennett has three sacks for the year...he's good, but he's not "destroying" his opponents, generally speaking.
The Hawks are -1 in turnover differential (we're +5) and they lose TOP 29:49 - 31:14 (one of our strengths: we're 2nd)
As a team, Hawks have 36 sacks and have given up 34. We have 30 and have given up 24 (we net 4 more than them)
Pete not having lost to a rookie QB doesn't mean anything. For one, they don't play against a lot of rookies, and when they do, rookies are generally not very good simply because they're inexperienced rookies. I wouldn't classify Dak in that category. He has been good...his IQ combined with his mobility could give them fits (voted to Pro Bowl). On top of that, Dak will have a full season under his belt by the time they play, so technically he won't be a rookie, if that matters.
As for containing Wilson, we did a great job of that when we played them in 2014. Same coaching staff is intact now. They know how to defend him. Getting the players to execute the plan will be the key. So, I'm not at all gnashing teeth and wailing at the prospect of facing them at home. I would be more concerned if we had to play them in Seattle, but that very likely won't occur.
