One bad game after going cross country 4 weeks in a row
You're reaching to make them into something they're not. Yes, they're a good all around team. So are we. They are not road grading everybody they face...they have numerous weaknesses. They are not the same team on the road that they are at home (7-0 at home, 2-4-1 on the road) You can fear them all you want. I don't. More importantly, our team won't.

Dallas can possibly beat Seattle or New York, but it will have to be a 13-10 kind of game.

To beat Atlanta, Dallas will need to score at least 34 points.

And Green Bay is a very different team now than what Dallas played earlier this year.

I don't think Atlanta makes it past the wild card round. Their defense is a huge liability. The Giants would be a terrible matchup for them. I think the Giants defense will make Ryan look silly and they wind up losing.

Most Feared is Seattle by far; Michael Bennett will line up on Doug free and wreck havoc on us; Pete hS never lost to a rookie QB. DangerRuss is extremely hard to contain. Fright Meter 10 out of 10.
2. The Giants- they know how to stop our run game and Eli manning always finds a way to win in the playoffs. Fright Meter 9 out 10
3. Atlanta Falcons- best offense in football by a country mile, Julio Jones has been unstoppable this year.
Fright Meter 7 out of 10
I'm more nervous about NYG and Atlanta than Seattle.

I think we can score on them (especially with Thomas out) and I'm not that worried about their offense.

It's actually the exact opposite, falcons are a terrible matchup for the Giants in that dome. Giants are terrible on turf, Eli has been abysmal and they have a terrible offensive line that Beasley can expose

I don't think Atlanta will play New York. The 3rd seed gets the 6th seed, so the Falcons will probably have Tampa, Washington, or Minnesota.

New York will probably be in Green Bay.

I agree that Cowboys offense will need to put up a fair number of points (27+ IMHO) when playing Atlanta.

As it relates to Green Bay their offense looks back on track, however, their defense looks fundamentally and irrevocably flawed.

I checked the scenario generator and you are correct. With that being said, I don't see the Falcons losing to Tampa unless they have an epic meltdown.

Oh and I also don't see the Packers losing again to the Giants at home in January. This isn't 2007.

That means the Cowboys would see that Packers in the divisional round at home. I like that matchup.

I don't. Rodgers is throwing dimes now like his old self. If he did that against us, Dallas would have gotten routed.

I want the Giants again. I'm still not convinced they're better, and if Dak can just play a bit more like his average self, I don't New York can score enough to win.

You get a "like" for using "fundamentally and irrevocably" in a football-related post! :)

I think you mean Cliff Avril.

More often than not, the Giants with Eli are one and done in the playoffs. Eli doesn't find a way to do much of anything except look confused most of the time.

Any of the playoff teams could possibly beat us on any given Sunday. I really don't like the Giants matchup with us not so much because of their talent, but we seem to call a really ****** game offensively when we play them.

In theory we should beat the Giants. They are not that good, but we seem to insist on abandoning the use of good judgment in play calling when we have played them this year.

I would like to avoid playing the Packers in the playoffs. Hopefully they will be eliminated before they play us in our first home playoff game.

I have been concerned with Atlanta but that is starting to fade a little bit. Our run defense is actually pretty good and Julio has been hurt. Their defense is suspect so I'm not sure if they can keep up with us on the scoreboard.

If Seattle has to come to Dallas they aren't winning.

Just a reminder.
I know Eli was part of two magical playoff runs, but more times than not...all other times in fact...he and the Giants have been one and done.
Everyone always says he's mister playoffs or whatever. 40% of the time that is true. 60%...the exact opposite.

I wonder how teams plan on dealing with us. They don't know if we're passing or running, where we're going to go with the ball, if Dak's going to take off running or if Lucky Dumbhead will turn on you. How to get the ball back if we keep these long drawn out drives going. How to tackle our defense that doesn't give up big plays and plays tight in the red zone.

Teams have a lot to think about.

I don't know, but you could ask the Giants.
