my anaylasis on the first teams

i dont post much on here but wat do yall think about this this was also done when the game was 7-0
my take on the game (cowboys Vs. texans)
well since alot of the 1st team people are done or about to be out ill do a anaylisis of the 1st team
Cowboys Defense- I htink they have been doin excellent tonight on defense
Roy Williams and Keith Davis have been playing great with good hits.

Terrence Newman and the other cb's have been doin great props to terrence's interception nice athletic ability.

The LB core is doing pretty good. Lots of props to Nguyen's heads up interception. Demarcus Ware has been doing good glad to see the innjury wasnt anything severe

D-Line La'Roi Glover is doing great at nose tackle. greg ellis and the others are doin good to

Houston's D not gonna go in depth with them but they gave up the first points. But i will give them props on bringing the blitz on the cowboys. But wen bledsoe is getting time he is picking them apart and when they aint hittin julius in the backfield. they usually givin him 5 yards or more

Cowboys Offense they have been ok the first couple of series sucked the other series have been good

Qb- Drew Bledsoe when he isnt being pressured he is doin pretty good

RB-Julius Jones did good tonight considering the blocking wasnt all that great at some points

Wr- Patrick Crayton has impressed me tonight. Terry Glenn is just doing his hting

O-line they needa get better at pass blocking and pickin up blitzes


Texans Offense- not so great

Qb- David Carr in my true honest opinion has sucked tonight setting up his recivers to get hit. throwing sucky passes. way overthrowing his recivers.

RB- dominick is doing good

Wr- there is something called catching the ball and not dropping them Andre Johnosn just catch it your gonna get hit anyways.

O-Line they have been doing about as good as the cowboys

penalties

cowboys have very little penalties

texans on the other hand have alot yes they should go to practice and read the NFL rule book come on.

Players that have impressed me tonight
defensively-Keith Davis, Roy Williams, Dat Nguyen,LaRoi Glover
Offensively- Drew Bledsoe, Julius Jones, Patrick Crayton, Rob Pettiti

i know i dont have any texans that have impressed me because for the most part none of them have

i know this is done before the game is over but this was my take on the first teamers and i know some of them might still be in there

That was a pleasant surprise, tho it was down last Monday nite too, from the absymal preseason opener penalty-fest.

How many total pen. yards tonght? Anyone who saw the game have any thoughts on the officiating crew..were they less anal than usual, letting close calls go? They like to set the tone in preseason.

The Texans were penalized far more than we were tonight. I'm sorry I don't have the numbers, but i'd be willing to bet a 3:1 ratio. One of our penalties was on the Roy Williams fight (offsetting), and another was a pass interference on Glover (screen pass) when Ware was actually tackled by his blocker.
