i think Romo should take over the starting job at QB; I don't think people realize how good of a QB he is, he's the best QB in the NFL besides Tom Brady. He made first team all pro his last full season. I don't think you can win in January with a rookie QB, Dak is the future but I believe Cowboys would win the super bowl this year with Romo.

I know it is very unpopular opinion, but I think the Cowboys are making a mistake in not seeing what they have in Romo. These types of seasons don't come around very often. This franchise needs to win the super bowl this season. I honestly believe Romo gives us our best chance to do so.

That said. I fully support Dak and hope he can bring home the Sixth.

Dak is playing better than Romo ever has. The coaches knew Dak gave them the best chance to win and they were right.

I always assumed that Romo would take the starting job back when he was healthy but he has clearly been Wally Pipp-ed. The team has decided the QB position ain't broke and they aren't going to fix it. They wouldn't go wrong with either starter.

I'm a Romo fan, but honestly thought this for sure was a hoax thread.

Do I think Romo is better than Dak when healthy? Absolutely yes.
Do I think there's any way they risk this run they are on to find out? Absolutely no.

And I agree with them.

That's what they said in 2007 and 2014.

I like Romo as well but and I do understand that he is a very good QB I don't think you understand how well Dak is playing. If Dallas made that move and put Romo in and Dallas loses the fall out would be tremendous. How could a team bench a player who has lead this team to this type of success and then get benched. Come on...

Romo has had his chances and I really wish things would have been different but putting Romo above the team would be wrong and fact is it is Dak who has lead this team to a franchise winning streak of 11 and counting. You would have a hard time convincing anyone to make this move. it is not like Romo has SB titles under his belt he has a couple of playoff wins

Hasn't thrown for 200 yards in back to back games. We lost last week against a mediocre team if not for a fumbled punt

Why is throwing for more than 200 yards some magical standard? We won.
The goal in drafting Zeke is to take the pressure off the quarterback. If you're arguing that Romo would be throwing for more yards, that means he's subject to more sacks and more hard hits in the pocket. And we know what happened the last three times he took too long getting rid of the ball ... His season ended in injury.

The best 4th quarter passer rating in the history of the NFL. 15-4 in his last 19 starts, he hasn't lost a road regular season game in 3 years.

You mean those "19 starts" out of the past 32 NFL games?

Or is it "19 starts" out of the 44 games he might have played in?

Inconvenient truths nobody wants to talk about.
