Javorius Allen, USC. Could probably get him in the third round. I think he's the best fit for Cowboys.

I'd take buck in the 4th. If I can get Cobb in the 3rd-4th I would be happy.

If the defensive players are picked over as much as I think they will be at the 27th pick, I'd be fine with either Gurley or Gordon there. Ebenezer Ekuban is an example of what they will get if they reach for need at 27.

I think the team now fully understands that and has been drafting BPA since about 2010. If either Gurley or Gordon are there... I promise you they will likely be BPA by a good bit. Just pull the trigger and get the best guy there and get defense elsewhere in the draft or free agency.

Both Gurley and Gordon are going to be very good players IMO, and behind the dominant OL in Dallas and with Dez, Romo and company giving teams so much to worry about in the passing game, I think either of them would be superstars.

What's the story on the RB Duke from Miami?

I seen him in a couple of games and he seemed to stand out but that was just a couple of games and I don't know much beyond that.

Duke is Jr's pet cat. He loves that guy.

Allen rushed for 100 or more yards in 13 of USC’s last 19 games, including a span of six straight contests this past season, the longest such streak since Marcus Allen had 11 in a row in 1981, the USC sports information office said.

Javorius Allen was named first-team all-Pac-12 with an average of 149.8 all purpose yards in the recently concluded season.
In a statement, Allen called the decision “tough,” saying, “I went home to Florida and talked it over with my family.”

USC coach Steve Sarkasian lauded Allen in a statement.
“He is not only a good football player, but a fine young man,” Sarkasian says. “We are grateful for what he did at USC.”

If the Cowboys have a RB on their radar it has to be Gurley or Gordon.

He looks decent. My issue with him is that he generally goes down after first contact without much of a fight to gain extra yards. Tevin Coleman tends to do the same thing. In the NFL these guys won't be running around untouched like they do in these college highlight reels. At 6-0, 221 I'm surprised he does run with more power.

We are a running team. We need a back or two that can carry the load. I want a stud RB...

Not some guy in the 4th or 5th that will look good bc of our oline

This team needs something more than that...doesn't have to be gurley or Gordon....but I don't want us relying on some mid round rookie

Well, I give him credit, DraftScout only has 11 backs rated ahead of him this year. Dude must be special!

Allen is projected as a third round pick. We picked DeMarco in the third round!

I'm not saying Allen is or isn't good enough. I don't know enough about him

Just speaking overall, we need a stud RB...somebody that can help carry the load...1a and 1b w Romo
