Not sure why but I feel like Taco will be on our menu. I also had a dream that we drafted him. But I'd like to see a better WR taken in round 2 and DB in 3. Nothing really excites me about this draft but it seems solid and safe.

whats the point of drafting a TE high? we got 2 guys on IR coming back and rico is in the mix.jason witten is not going anywhere either,it will be a total wasted pick.

Witten and Hanna won't be Cowboys in 2018 (Hanna maybe out in 2017).

Taco doesn't fit my goal of getting speed on the dline. He's a SDE

I'm not yet convinced that Taco is a 1st round talent. Also, he is more of Strong Side DE which the Cowboys seems to have plenty of on the roster. They need a RDE.

Evans and Dural look good but I think they might go earlier.

This team isn't set at TE other than Witten. Jeramy Sprinkle would be a great choice at #4

Taco was invisible during the MSU game.....I mean, he was in the game, but it looked like I was watching a 5th degree JAG.....he was that non-existent out there. I missed the tOSU game, unfortunately, so I didn't get to see how well he played in that one. I just came away completely underwhelmed.

The DEs I really like are DeMarcus Walker - FSU, Daeshon Hall - A&M, and Tanoh Kpassagon - Villanova (has the size to play inside as well). I omitted all the ones that are slated to go early in the draft, like my favorite defensive player of the draft, Jonathan Allen - Alabama.

As for the hybrids DE/OLBs.....The kid from UCLA and Landry from BC.

Walker and Landry led FBS in sacks this year with 15. If were able to get those two, along with the emergence of Irving, and the arrival of Tapper, our pass rush should be drastically improved.

He had 3 QB pressures against MSU. He had 9 tackles and 2.5 sacks against OSU. I like him better as a pro prospect than Walker who I think is a stiff ( but strong) plodder.

Agreed. And it's really an unknown at this point. Scandrick is back. Brown is back. Carr can be a FA so can Claiborne. CB is a big need in this draft IMO.

Tanoh Kpassagnon seems really raw. He reminds me a little of David Irving but is not nearly as strong.

Taco does not look like an RDE and the Cowboys seems to have plenty of LDEs.
