Hot day in Canton, Ohio folks....I have to tell ya that when they induct Emmitt, that may well be my last one.

I don't know which was worse, the heat, or the hate. Actually I know the answer, the hate....I'll sit through any weather to see a Cowboy inducted. But man, the snide remarks made by other fans throughout Michael's speech was just so uncalled for.

I won't do them the service of the things they would comment on...but it was very unfortunate to try and listen to Mike and hear this and that in the background.

Today's notes

Emmitt was dressed to the nines and his wife is hot.

It won't be long before Dan Dierdorf is in a wheelchair.

My wife want's the hat Michael's wife wore.

I'm pretty sure I saw DA FAN there...and he may have gotten some air time with a Cowboy's banner and Cowboy's hard hat.(if it was him)

$4.00 is too much for french fries.

A Squealer fan informed me of how Pittsburgh had 7 more members in the hall than Dallas. I reminded him that their franchise is 40 years older...and that they suck.

Sure wish Randy White and Tony Dorsett would make the trip...Jimmy Johnson too. And Roger.

You had to dump your bottled water at the gate...and then buy it inside. Virtually every person was frisked before entrance.

Dan Rooney is a very short man.

Never worry about not having a ticket...plenty outside for less than face value.

Congrats Mike...another great Cowboy day I'll never forget.

The hate is directly attributed to ***** envy NFL teamwise; don't let it get to you...

That being said, I would have probably had confrontations... :D

Pretty cool Jack. Sorry to hear about your water thing though.

I had a friend who went with me to a football game in Pittsburgh. It was and august pre season game and it was blistering hot. We walked up to the gate to go in and they wanted to make us dump our water.

Well, like a dope, I threw my bottle in the can they had at the turnstile.

My friend however began to explain to the guy at the gate that he has a medical condition that requires frequent hydration when the temp. gets over 80 degrees. This condition causes a seepage of secretion from his pores and can be transfered to those around him. The guy said well in that case go ahead, you can take it in.

We got to our seats and I said to him "I didn't know you had this problem." He said, "well, so do you. It's called sweating." I just looked at him and then cracked up.
