My whole family decided a few months back to make the trip to New Orleans for the Cowboys game as our christmas present to each other. We decided to spend the extra money and stay at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel here in New Orleans.
So Im pulling in the parking lot and walking in front of my car is Gerald Sensabaugh and his gf/wife and kid.
I roll down my window and tell him, "Gerald, you boys gotta get the win tomorrow night and he smiled at me and said "Oh we will, dont worry about that."
So i figured i got lucky enough to see him but i had no idea that the entire team was staying at the same hotel as i was until i walked into the lobby.
When i walked in the lobby, i was shocked to see basically the entire defense standing there waiting to go into a team meeting. I got to shake hands with Ratliff, Ware, Spears, Bowen, and a few others. I didnt want to bother them with autographs and stuff because i didnt want to bug them, so i just played it cool and told a few of them i drove all the way from dallas to see them whoop the saints tomorrow night.
Later on i did however go back into the lobby and take a few pics of them/with them (i will be posting pics when i get back into Dallas) I got a picture with Wade Phillips and my wife got a really good picture with Miles Austin.
This has been by far my greatest cowboys experience ever, and i can't wait to go witness my cowboys end the Saints pursuit of prefection. I have been representing the cowboys on Bourbon st, and have been catching alot of heckling for doing so, but this trip has been well worth every bit of it.
I just had to share my experience with you guys here on cowboyszone. I dont post often but i am on this site at least 3-4 times a day.
You can bet that i will be cheering loudly at the game in a few hours, I gotta good feeling about this game..... GO COWBOYS BABY!
