1st Round- Ko Simpson FS South Carolina- after FA our biggest need is a FS and KO is the best available at 18. He plays both the pass and run very well. Had 6 int's his Fresh year. and 103 tackles his Soph year. plus he is only a Soph still so his potential is great.

2nd Round- Charles Spencer OG Pitt- a HUGE guy 6'5 352. adds depth to our line and has played both gaurd spots and tackle. plus he was originaly a DT in his Fresh and Soph years so he has the intensity and drive needed. has great upside because of the level he is at with his limited experience at OL.

3rd Round- Spencer Havner OLB/ILB UCLA- a very sure wrap-up tackler. has 4.6 speed with good hands (he was recruited as a TE) for coverage. great against the run. has the speed and coverage skills to play OLB and the size(6'4 240) and tackling abily to play inside and stuff the run.

5th Round- Bruce Grawboski QB Toledo- Has a cannon of an arm plus he is accurate completing 70% of his passes 2 straight years. combine this with his 4.59 speed and he has great potential. if he is still available here for us i think we should jump all over him and try to groom him into our future starting QB. he is projected as a 4-5 rounder so it could be possible.

if not a speedy WR would be a good option in the 5th.

to me all of these players can step in and fill a hole for us right away(with the exception of the 5th rounder). i think that this would be great value for us.

If we draft a FS in the first round I think Bill and Jerrah better watch out. Theres going to be a bunch of ticked off fans.

I'm not sure what we take, I just don't think we put our 3rd 1st round pick in 5 years into the secondary.

I would rather have Jason Allen in the 2nd than KO in the 1st. We will probably spend our 18th pick on an OLBer.

We need a starting FS, there are none left in FA and Jason Allen or any other 2nd round wont be ready next year. Id much rather have Burnett/Singleton starting at OLB than Keith Davis/ no one starting at FA.

plus havent the other draft picks in the secondary worked out? we've drafted 2 pro-bowlers whats wrong with taking a shot at another one?

I would take either one of them. Both are phenomenal athletes, but Allen has injury concerns which is why he will drop to the third or second round. If we pick up another OLB like Peterson in FA, then I think a FS is a lock for a first round draft, most likely Simpson or CB/S tweener Jimmy Williams. But if we do not sign another OLB, then it all depends on who Parcells and the Cowboy scouts believe will be available in the later picks. If We can get Lawson or maybe Carpenter in the second, then I think we will take Simpson or Williams in the first. However, if Dallas feels that Lawson or Carpenter will not last into the second, then we will take either one and most likely target Allen in the second round.
Either way, I will not be disappointed.

The problem is you can't put too many resources into any one area and expect to have a good over all team. We have 2 high draft picks and a high dollar FA in the secondary alreeady.

trade all our picks for the #4 and #10 and draft ferguson and huff . . .

We don't have enough fire power with our picks to trade up and get to #4 yet alone to both #4 and #10.

I'd rather have Jason Allen in the 2nd and Mark Anderson in the 3rd. This is considering we pick up another OLB in FA.

If we don't get an OLB in FA, then my first choice will be Lawson. The reason why - When parcells signed Ayodele ( a proven OLB with tons of tackles and experience) and decided to move him inside, that showed me that Parcells will look to get another Tweener. He could've easily used a proven and traditional Linebacker ,Ayodele at the OLB position, but didn't.

Any mock that has a Bruin in it is okey by me! Havner is a beast and to see him come here would be great!

me too, and not just a little bit. Jason Allen is a great player, first round talent, 4.3 speed, that will drop because of his injury and a draft loaded at his position.

I too think we need an impact OLB at 18 or with a trade down. My pick is Lawson but I think it sounds like we are also interested in Wimbley (probably would be with a trade down) or Carpenter, although I think Carpenter is more of a ILB. Any of those three guys would be great picks in the late first.
Lawson is the dude though...freak...reminds me of Julius Peppers in the way that he was just ridiculously athletic coming out of college.

k well my traing for #4 and #10 was a joke i hope you all know haha.

but seriously 1st round is most going to be Carpenter or Lawson because they are going to be better values than Ko Simpson at that point. we need to face it that huff is so hyped that he will go top 10 and even if he drops St. Louis needs a CB and for Williams; there is a bigger chance of him dropping to 18 but also highly unlikely because 3 teams before us might take a CB/S (Detroit, St. Louis, Miami). Now there are still tons of options in round 2 and even 3 for safety, so OLB will be addressed with the 18 unless 1 of the 2 falls or we get Peterson/Arrington which are both highly unlikely.
