Minny took Philly's game plan against us. They blitzed our middle and dink passed us to death. Then we started to play up a bit and hit us deep.
On the two deep balls was that Henry and Newmans fault or the Safety?
The middle of our OL got abused while McQ and Columbo, I thought, played good. I think this is why we are going to the 2 TE set to combat 8 men in the box and the run blitz. Parcells is going to have to open up this offense until teams start respecting our passing game. I am glad we played a good front in Minny because this is exactly what we are going to get with Jax. I am not going to jump the gun on our OL until we get Flo back and see who the starters are.
For those of you wanting Marion to start I understand Marion looks good but he also has holes and is not facing 8 men in the box. When JuJo comes in defenses run blitz every time. You can see the frustration in JuJo's face and I feel sorry for him. I hope they give Barber 1st and 2nd down duties and JuJo gets 3rd. It would allow us to compare them fairly.
Vandy is a perfect example of why you need pratice and Spags called this awhile back. Right now I think he is feeling the pressure and thinking too much. Suisham has a cannon leg this year!!!
Romo reminds me of Staubach in the pocket you have no idea what is about to happen
. Rector is Terry Glenn and I think we found a future playmaker. Rector was held numerous times with no flag :bang2: . Hurd never gives up and I hope we don't cut him loose. I supported Green and thought there was no way we cut him but after 4 preseason games there is no way I cut Copper or Hurd for him. I don't even know if he gets on the PS.
I wanna give props to our second team offense and defense they never gave up and they kept fighting beyond exhaustion.
