I do think we'll see a few minor moves...probably be 2 or 3 of our backup/fringe guys get traded, and I do believe we'll see a new CB or two added and if a good PR/KR ption becomes available, we may see that

QB (2)- Romo & Johnson...Moore to PS if he clears waivers

RB (3)- Jones, MBII & Thompson

FB (2)- Hoyte and Anderson

TE (3)- Witten, Fasano & Curtis...Curtis might be trade bait for a backup CB, if so Bergen is probably #3 TE

WR (5)- Owens, Glenn, Crayton, Hurd, Stanback...I think Miles may be cut or traded for a conditional pick

OL (9)- Adams, Kosier, Gurode, Davis, Columbo, Free, McQuistan, Marten, Proctor (or Berger)

DE (4)- Canty, Spears, Hatcher, Ratliff

NT (2)- Ferguson & Ayodele (or free agent)

LB (7)- Ware, Ayodele, James, Spencer, Burnett, Carpenter, Ellis,

CB (5) - Newman, Henry, Glenn, Thomas or Reeves and one addition

S (5) - RW, Hamlin, Watkins, Davis & Elam

ST (3)- Folk, McBriar, LaDouceur

That leaves 3 spots...Bowen might be the 7th DL..I think they'll add a PR/KR...they might still keep both kickers or perhaps they keep Moore on roster as 3rd QB

Jerry suprisingly did say last night during the pregame or halftime cant remember that they are thinking of keeping two kickers right now.

I still dont see what anyone sees in joey thomas. I was holding out hope for him when he was stashed on the roster last winter, I am not even sure how many people realized he was on the roster. Now everyone wants him on the team.

I really think he is tenative when it comes to tackling and he looks like he is struggling in pass coverage, you dont want wishy washy tacklers in this defense outside. Our corners with all the one on one are going to have to turn back to the play when it is a run and make open field tackles. I cant see thomas doing that at all.

i am sure someone will come up with a list of corners who will be on the waiver wire or the bubble and make some guesses. Seeing that they tried to trade for dante wesley already and listening to jerry last night leads me to believe we will have two to three players on the roster at the end of the week that are not here right now.

Parcells was very good at finding players to fit at this time of the year, not just parcells but the staff of scouts and jerry. Hopefully that will continue.

I would hate to think we are going back to the phillipi sparks emergency signing days.

I'd like to see if we get get a Punt Returner either through a trade or through the waiver wire. I'd even consider giving up a low round conditional pick.

As for back-up CB, that may be more difficult to swing as CBs are such a hot commodity in today's NFL (with all the 3 WR sets, etc). We can only hope.

As for a back-up NT, let's see if any other 3-4 teams try to slyly stash someone on their PS. I'm a bit disappointed that M. Stanely didn't show more the 2nd time around.

Why bother keeping 5 CBs if the bottom 2 are disappointing.

Also think we will keep 6 WRs, cause at this point Stanbach is still a developmental and won't contribute much early in the season.

Keeping only 7 LBs is risky with Ellis being unable to play yet.

Does Elam really do enough of ST to warrant a roster spot? He hasn't done anything in preseason, but I really hoped Courtney Brown would make this team.
