28- Carl Lawson DE Auburn- Cowboys look past injuries as usual and get the closest thing to a war daddy availavle at 28

60- Quincy WIlson CB Florida- Big physical CB who will excel in off man and zone. Plays the ball well in the air and makes plays. Gets pushed down because of a great CB class. Plays on the outside early and probably beats Carroll out in camp.

92- Adam Shaheen TE Ashland- He didn't blow up the combine as expected and coming from such a small school I think he goes a little later than expected. Huge, athletic and a great pass rusher. Needs to be developed but huge potential. Witten's successor

133- Josh Harvey Clemons S Louisville- Huge box S who has good range and is a good tackler. Hybrid LB/SS that has the ability to cover when needed. Needs a lot of work and has some past character concerns but a lot to like.

211- Fred Ross WR Miss St- Dak's former WR. Decent size and speed, could develop into a 3rd/4th WR

228- Levon Myers OT North Illinois- Has the size and athleticism traits to make an NFL roster.

246- Jahad Thomas RB Temple- Undersized but great agility and quickness. Pass catcher and kick return as well

Lawson has talent no doubt but for me the injuries are a deal killer
Would QWilson make it to 60?

thanks for your post

Things will be clearer once we know all the Star invites and Dallas day guys.

Could get on board with that ! Not great, but for late in each round I would not hate it. Think in some shape or form, this will be pretty close to what happens (maybe not the exact players, but the game plan at least).....
I like Lawson and Wilson more than most it seams.

They'll take two corners.

Yep. With Claiborne now gone, they need at least 2 corners from this draft unless they bring in another FA later here.

And reality is Carroll blows so they better get 2 corners in this draft.

The offseason approach to the defense is mindnumbing.

Like it or not, Carroll was signed to play. 1st/2nd round pick, Brown, Scandrick, Carroll...there are your 4 primary CB's. Maybe change 1 of the 7th's or the 6th to a CB, sure, but I highly doubt they will take 2 CB's before the 6th. McFadden is still on the roster so they will probably bring in a late pick/UDFA to battle with him for 5th.

Great pass catcher? Was reading bout him, seems to be a hard worker, very much looks like Big Witt.

28 Conley or another corner like Moreau or Awuzie or Jackson
60 Josh Jones or another safety like Buda Baker or Kevin King, or ot Taylor Moton, or rb Joe Mixon
92 de Jordon Willis or de Derek Rivers, or wr Copper Kupp
133 de Avery Moss, or cb Shaquill Griffin, or te Jake Butt, or dt Vincent Taylor

It is hard to do this draft stuff when you don't know who is available. It would be cool if they got another draft pick and picked up several players on this list.
