de at 225? jesus brave

Marquis Haynes*, DE/OLB, Ole Miss
Height: 6-3. Weight: 222.
Projected 40 Time: 4.64.

Projected Round (2017): 2-3.

11/19/16: Against both Florida State and Alabama, Haynes played well and illustrated that he can be a difference-maker as a situational defender. In 2016, Haynes has 41 tackles, 10 tackles for a loss, three forced fumbles, three passes batted, one interception and six sacks. He is a heat-seeking missile off the edge who is a natural pass-rusher.

CBS has going 1-2

if dallas was playing a 3-4 i would still be skeptical.

I can't be okay with drafting a 225 pound DE. He will probably never be able to get up to the weight the cowboys want him at probably bout 250. I see him as a stand up outside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme. I would rather have taco charlton or sidney jones at that point. In the first I want someone who is physically ready to go that way he can be taught up instead of worrying about gaining weight and learning the rigors of the NFL.

Haynes really looks like a 3-4 guy to me.

If he could play OLB on 1st and 2nd down and then move to DE on 3rd than maybe we could get away with it.

When you watch him he is not only good at rushing but he is also good at dropping into pass lanes at the DE position and we all know how Dallas likes to rush 3.

Von Miller 6-3, 237lb

Listed at 246 at the Combine, which is the same weight Vic Beasley came in at.

And for the sake of accuracy, Haynes is listed at 222 lbs on nfldraftscout, ESPN and Ole Miss' bio page.

Do you think Zay Jones will get 2nd round consideration? I ask as an ECU fan and big fan of Zay. I'm not a draftnik, so curious to hear how you think he compares to other WRs coming out. I know he's a good kid, dare I say a RKG. Would love to see him become a Cowboy like his dad.
