Some of you may remember at Thanksgiving in 2006 that I posted a thread about my nephew's son, Zachary, watching the Cowboys game with me.

I hadn't seen Zachary since then until yesterday. I was wearing a gray Cowboys t-shirt and he said, "I love the Cowboys."

I said, "I know you do Zach. I remember watching the game with you at Thanksgiving."

He asked, "did you see the playoff game where we lost to the Giants?"

I said, "yes, I did."

He replied, "boy that sucked."

I told his Mom and Dad that he may be their son, but he's my boy. I gotta buy that kid a Romo jersey.

Just that I'd share since some had enjoyed the story from before.

that kind of reminds me when i was young and used to go over my grandparents house on sunday. the 1st game i ever saw was the giants at the cowboys. my grandfather was trying to get me to cheer for the giants but i was having no part in that. the next time i went over i asked my grandfather "how are my cowboys doing?" he didn't like that to much.:D

how old is your nephew's son, hos?

I told both Nikki and Jay (their parents) if for what ever reason run into trouble i'd be willing to take those two, i already got them pulling a lil chant that kinda sounds like "truck the skins, rock the stars!"

Some kids are just born with too much common sense.

I think he's 9. He's all boy too. You should have seen him on the trampoline yesterday. Fearless.

I told Aaron and Julie yesterday that if anything happens to them, I get Zach. His folks can have the other 3 kids, Zach is mine. Julie told me, "hes' already yours. You're his favorite person in the whole family."

Happy Easter to you too. I have some detractors, but I think I'm pretty friendly. When the chips are down, I will never leave anyone hanging. Not even my detractors.

Okay, so right before we left to come home tonight I was showing Zach and his brothers the forum. I was showing them how we can change the backgrounds. He says, "do you have Troy Aikman? He's my favorite."

He also asked about Michael Irvin. I showed him that one too.

Then I was showing him all the emoticons and when he saw this one...

:dissskin:

...he said, "I like that one. The Commanders suck."

:laugh2:

You say that like it would be a bad thing.

I did find out he is 8, not 9. I wasn't sure.

Ok so he is 8? So he basically didn't see him play. But yet he knows of the greatness that is Troy Aikman, smart kid. ha
