Resign:
Mark Sanchez, the team will go with him
David Irving, He has said he wont take a long term deal because he;s banking on his value going up. minimum offer
Morris Claiborne, he will sign with Dallas with incentives
Darren McFadden, Dallas seems to have trust in him and he seems to accept his role
Richard Ash, hear all the time on cowboys radio the team likes him.

Release:
Alfred Morris, he's a gonner and gives dallas 1.5 in cap room

Free Agents:
Demarcus Ware, Dallas needs a guy to lead this defensive line. Ware isnt going to pile up the snaps he once did but the team wouldnt need him to. Lawrence, Mayowa and Tapper can all play the weakside.
Justin Gilbert, tremendous talent. This team would be the place to see if he truely wAnts to play ball. Nobody is going to offer him much money.

Trade Romo to KC for RD3 pick

Draft
RD1. Caleb Brantley DT Florida
Guy who reminds me of T McClain. Can play both spots inside and penetrate from both spots. Dallas showed late in the yr DE wasnt really the problem but a consistent push inside was. Collins and Brantley sound real nice for the future.

NFL.com draft profile
BOTTOM LINE
Powerful, stout defensive tackle with the quickness to play the three-technique and the power to play the nose. Brantley has the talent and traits that should appeal to both two-gap and one-gap defenses. While we haven't seen Brantley play in even half of Florida's defensive snaps in a single year, the talent is there to become an early starter and a defensive force up front.

RD2. Justin Evans S Texas A&M
Aggressive hitter that can make plays on the ball aswell. Needs to add a little weight but doubt that would be a problem.

NFL.com draft profile
BOTTOM LINE
Soft-spoken but carries a walloping stick. Plays the game with an elevated sense of urgency and excitement. He is a little undersized, but has plus speed, is an extremely physical hitter and can play deep or near the line of scrimmage. Athleticism and ball skills might lead a team to test him out as a slot corner. Regardless of where he plays, he has the talent to become a plus NFL starter and a potential Day 2 (Rounds 2-3) draft selection.

RD3(KC). Amara Darboh WR Michigan
Physical WR who isnt affraid to go across the middle and wins them 50-50 balls. Very good in what Dallas looks for in their WRs and thats the ability to block down the field.

NFL.com draft profile
BOTTOM LINE
Darboh caught the attention of scouts from very early on in his final season at Michigan. Darboh's outstanding size will have some teams excited, but he needs to run well at the combine in order to be targeted as a "size/speed" prospect. He lacks the quickness and hands to make a living underneath, but has the physical traits and willingness to help as a blocker that could get teams to bite on the second day of the draft (Rounds 2-3). Scheme fit could determine whether he becomes a WR2 or just a guy fighting for snaps off the bench.

RD3. Rasul Douglas CB WVU
Big CB who plays lights out in zone, which Dallas plays. But can play press aswell. Closes in and takes good angles to make plays on the ball as his 8ints this yr showed.

NFL.com draft profile
BOTTOM LINE
Douglas has rare size for the position and his 2016 interception total will add to the level of intrigue for NFL teams. There is no doubting Douglas' ability to make plays on the ball when he's in position, but his lack of long speed and closing burst could make his big senior season an anomaly. Douglas is a zone corner with press and trail ability but needs to run a reasonable time at the combine to solidify his draft slotting.

RD4. Avery Moss DE Youngstown St
Quick off the snap and attacks the T. Started at nebraska and did good but got kicked out of school for exposing himself to a female student lol. Transfered to Youngstown with former nebraska coach Bo pelini and dominated. Think he will be better then teammate Derek Rivers.

NFL.com draft profile
BOTTOM LINE
Moss is an ascending prospect who possesses the length and juice off the edge expected of open-side rusher. His big closing burst can be felt against both the run and pass and he translates to either 4-3 defensive end or 3-4 rush linebacker. Moss was productive at both Nebraska and Youngstown and his traits could lead to continued success as an eventual NFL starter.

RD6. Devine Redding RB Indiana
Played in a zone scheme. Good vision and patient. Would be a nice backup in 2018

RD7. Fred Ross WR Miss St
Was a big weapon for Dak in 2015, when he left his game suffered as did alot for the bulldogs.

RD7. James Owualu LB Notre Dame
Quick lb and guy who could fight for backup and core ST guy.

Only pick i dislike is Evans in the 2nd. If we are gonna take a SS early then i hope its Marcus Maye out of Florida. Range and instincts of a free safety. Tackling and physicality of a box safety.

I like that you took Brantley in the 1st. I think he will be a realistic option and at the bottom of our 1st round board. He and Collins will be a handful for any oline in the NFL.

What a lot of people overlook when looking for DEs to passrush, is the importance of the DTs to attack the middle and draw extra attentio, so the DEs can further create chaos off the edge. That is Sapp was so vital in Tampa.

I want to echo the Bradley pick. Not sure we can spend a 1st on another D3 since MCollins is a damn good one at that.
Like reinforcing the DB's but sure Moss is the hoss

I like parts of this.

Mark Sanchez - No thanks. Never liked him and he looked terrible when given the opportunity. Dan Orlovsky is a guy we might take a look at. I would be fine with bringing Moore back.

I agree on Claiborne and Mcfadden.

Alfred Morris - I agree. No need to keep him. I would cut Free too.

Ash meh no opinion really. Cheap enough I suppose.

Ware and Gilbert - I wouldn't bring Ware back but I would like a shot at Gilbert especially if he wasn't the only option on the team. With Claiborne and drafting Douglas you get a chance to try Gilbert but not have to rely on him. If you hit on him it is a major get. If you miss then you haven't lost much.

I like your draft even if I would go different routes. It looks interesting and fills a lot of needs with quality players. You grabbed two WR's which I have been thinking is wise. Twill is too expensive and Butler is just too frustrating. Darboh and Ross are nice adds. You grabbed a SS which I have been craving for years. The more I think about your draft, the more I like it even grabbed a no 3 RB which we need. It's just that 1st pick I have issue with even if I like the player. Heck if it means cutting Tyrone Crawford next year if he doesn't excel then I say, "go for it." Moss is an interesting prospect if he can stay away from the female staff. LOL

a player like brantley can play both spots. and he's more of a 1tech in this scheme.

Ive been saying that since the reg season. Dallas started getting sacks when collins began to start with mcclain after crawfords injuries started piling up. When you get that pressure up the middle and break down the pocket you drive that qb into your DEs. But then still sometimes it wasnt enough so dallas had to bring in the blitz. Mostly because mcclain started to wear down. This draft is top heavy with LDEs, which dont make alot of sense for Dallas because the team really has something with Irving. And dallas has alot of young talent that needs to be developed at RDE. IMO it starts inside, look at the OL the inside of the dallas OL is so much better then everybody else its not even funny.

It wasn't just your typical flasher type deal though. He went and flashed a convenience store clerk. Twice. Within four hours.

Sounds like a pretty stupid individual.

I do agree with this but we also need a 7 technique

The voice-over guy in the commercial says to see a doctor if there's an issue after four hours...he chose a convenience store clerk. Twice. Paging Charles Haley! Cowboys might need you to do an intervention.

Would applaud Brantly in first, like most of the picks, Evens and Moss not sure about.
Different thinking - opens up ideas of different ways of attacking this draft, I like it !

Really like the draft part of it. Which means the Cowboys would never go this direction. I myself might consider Josh Reynolds instead of Darboh, but I admit to watching more Aggie games.

I have a feeling Dallas likes Darboh. They really are into Big 10 players.
