Are the slow starts on both the offense and defense. A good team will make the Cowboys pay for those slow starts, and I'd be remiss if I said didn't concern me.

Thanks for pointing that out and yes this offense is based off sustaining long drives predicated on running the ball and playaction and if it's working this offense is a machine and can't be stopped and if the offense is stagnant and the opposition is scoring on all facets as you mentioned then this offense would have a hard time catching up but the other team would have to be up by at least 3 scores late in the game imo in order for this offense not to come back and you also mentioned how the team came back from deficits in the 49ers, and the Eagles games to win it's funny how some fans forget that. The 49ers jumped out to a 14-0 lead and the Eagles jumped out to a 12-3 lead.
The only bad combination would be if a team scores two quick touchdowns on offense and the Cowboys give up one or two touchdowns on special teams or turnovers. Most teams would have a hard time coming back from that though.
As good as the Cowboys have been, they are a grind-based offense. While they will throw it deep here and there, that is setup because the defense is expecting a grind play every down and it catches them off guard. If the Cowboys were in chase mode early, I am not sure this offense could catch up quickly if they became one dimensional. Then again, most teams would have that issue.

Both of those teams are trash and won't see the post season. We also fell behind against the Steelers. Would hate to fall behind 2 scores to a team like the Seahawks or the Pats come post season play. The 49ers jumped out to a 14-0 lead and the Eagles jumped out to a 12-3 lead.

I will take the lesser of the two weevils, whichever that is.Boll Weevils?

This is exactly what I was getting at. Teams like the Seahawks and Pats don't let teams climb back into games usually. They're coached well enough to keep the foot on the throat and not let up.Both of those teams are trash and won't see the post season. We also fell behind against the Steelers. In fact i'd hate to fall behind 2 scores to anyone when it's a lose and you're done format.
Dak seems to come into games overhyped and slowly settles into a groove. We need to sart better.
just kidding
