Well, it's monday and doom and gloom seem to be out in full force. I have alot of opinions and I've had a little to drink so I'm gonna take a crack at an assessment of the Dallas Cowboys. Some of you may have not realized that the Cowboys passed a test. What might that be? We did great against the pass. We even had a decent pass-rush. We, unfortunatley, could not handle big ol' Lamont Jordan stumbling for five yards every time he touched the ball. Aside from that and the one long pass to Moss we did fine. At this juncture my hatred of Mike Zimmer is quieted.
Now the offense, the suprising source of most our woes. Let's just break it down. Bledsoe did okay, he missed Keyshawn on a stupid fade, and didn't see Witten in the endzone, boo hoo. Yes our play-calling is as predictable as an 80s primetime sitcom, I'd very much like Payton's efforts to be more silent. Julius didn't have as bad a day as some may believe, he had a 12 yard run from a pass that was all him. Tyson Thompson did alright running, but provided some Reshard Lee like support for the blitz, a pity. Our line played like a bunch of schoolgirls trying to block rabid mice. If Larry and Flozell are worth a dime they've been paid, they won't ever turn in another performance like that. I have a great contempt for Sparano now. I wonder if Tice might coach our line next year? We nearly had this game and a few unfortunate plays took it from us. I still think we have what it takes to go 11-5, I really think this Philly game may spell the rest of our year, I think we can win it too. Now if I haven't bored you enough, I just wanna say once and for all, that our 2003 draft of Terence Newman was a great pick. (Just something I had to get off my chest)
