#22 Brandon Meriweather
DB 5'10 ", 192, MIAMI (FLA.)
Free Safety/Strong Safety/Corner = Mr. Versatilty!!!
Brandon was the best DB going into the 2006 season. I hoped to throw some draft picks at Aaron Glenns spot going into last season, but Bill was able to milk another year out of Glenn. Reeves and Jones weren't able to surpass Glenn. They are destined for JAGville.
At worse Meriweather projects to play Free safety with the ability to move to corner, size might limit his SS role at the next level eerily similar to the knock on Ed Reed.
#53…… Brian Leonard
FB 6'1", 224, RUTGERS
Oliver Hoyte was a pleasant surprise, but like Lousaka Polite they limited at the position even though they excelled at certain aspects.
I think (IMO) Jason Garett system needs a legit FB. Brian IMHO will be a special teams standout from the get go.
#87 Doug Datish
OC 6'3", 302, OHIO STATE
Another versatile player. The drop off from the top two centers to Doug isn't as huge as reflected by the RDs they are expected to get selected. I think he'd be great value late in the 3rd RD.
