Not gonna lie. The bears game scares me. We haven't beaten them in a while no matter how good or bad they looked...cutler destroys us usually...just got a bad feeling that could be the game that ruins the season at the end...

You're not very good at setting lines

Definitely favored vs Nyg
Definitely favored vs philly at home
At Chicago is the toughest line to predict...dal probably favored by 1-2pt..
Definitely dogs at philly
Definitely favored vs Colts and vs skins

While I get your point.

I get RD's point too.

We are a team that when we are right we are the most balanced team. We can beat any team. We can actually be favored more.

@Giants: Cowboys should be favored to win
Eagles: Tossup, 50-50
@Bears: Cowboys should be favored
@Eagles: Eagles should be favored
Colts: Colts should be favored
@ Commanders: Cowboys should be favored

(The NY game is not at Dallas).

If the Cowboys lose Sunday night, I don't like our chances of winning the division. When you play a struggling division rival after a 10 day rest, you'd better win that game or you ain't ready for prime time. I'll be sooooo disappointed if we lose this game.

This is exactly right. This game sets up everything else. If we we win, it can really set the tone for a really strong late season run. If we put a clunker out there Sunday night, my confidence in this team will take a serious, if not fatal, hit. This team is really healthy for this time of year - there is absolutely no reason this shouldn't be their best performance of the year. And I believe it will be. As of now, I have a really low level of concern about either of the next two games. I think we'll win both pretty handily.

If I had to choose, I'd say the Cowboys fail to make the playoffs. Its just what they do. A 2-4 finish wouldn't surprise me.

However, unlike some previous years this team has the talent in areas to make a run. Their defense sucks but that power running game with a great OL, good RB and a legit franchise QB gives them a chance to be the hot team in December and January.

I agree. Two other positives I would add is the team overall seems to be in a better place mentally. Also they are healthier this year for the stretch then they were the last couple of years. Combine that with what you said and the Cowboys are in a great position to surprise a lot people in the next few weeks.

I don't understand posts like this? At what point in the past 4 years did we have an offensive line or running game like what we have now? Or a defense that acted like it knew how to get off the field? Or was able to be balanced and not rely on a god-like performance from the qb most weeks to win? What else does it take to see that this team blatantly is different from any of its precious incarnations?

if we lose to the giants and eagles the next two .... i'm going to be mad as hell...

i do expect a loss at chicago though....carr can not cover big receivers.

philly on the road and indy are probably going to go either way.

maybe luck tweaks an ankle or something.

Carr is probably better against bigger receivers than smaller quicker ones these days.

Would rather see Carr vs. alshon than Carr vs Odell.

at Giants, we should win this game, but anything can happen. I think the coaches keeps this team focused, and have them prepared for anything.
Giants will pull out everything in their bag of tricks, and take chances.
W, 8-3

Eagles, this is still a toss up. But we matched up well with them last year, and should be better this year. Regardless if Foles or Sanchez at QB. Sproles is what concerns me, and the deep passes to Macklin.
W, 9-3

at Bears, always a concern, but Cutler deems to being playing poorly, but means nothing at game time. We play with a chip on the shoulder from last year. Cowboys go Bear hunting, and win.
W, 10-3

at Eagles, I usually give splits within the division until I see how each team looks, and will give the Eagles the win at their place.
L, 10-4

Colts, I maintained all year we can beat Colts. However, if there is a game to lose in the next 6, this would be it. If we lose at Eagles, we will bounce back to win this one. If we sweep the Eagles, most likely we have the division, so could drop this one. But if division still up for grabs, we win.
W, 11-4

at Commanders, hopefully this is a meaningless game for the division, but may mean something for seeding. We won't let Washington sweep us, and they could be more in shambles and just have given up.
W, 12-4

I hate myself but I can't shake this bad feeling.

Maybe it a fool-me-thrice thing but I just see trouble on the horizon.

We are due to lose some road games.

I see 10-6 at best, maybe 9-7 and an iffy chance at a wildcard.

I'm not sold on Philly either btw. So something has to give and we'll find out soon enough.

If we blow the 6-1 start and don't make the playoffs I'll feel worse than the last three 8-8 seasons combined.

Luck is probably the best QB on the Cowboys' remaining schedule. Luck vs. the Cowboys defense...........I don't feel good about that.

I'm sensing a 350-yard, 4-touchdown passes type of game.

If we have the team I think we have and we play to our strengths we should run the table.

Umm....

Beating one of the worst teams in the league at home while you're fighting tooth and nail to win your division?

We'll see how Luck handles facing Anthony Hitchens.

I don't know how you simulate that in practice.

Yep. I can envision a scenario this year where the Cowboys make a run. In past years I couldn't. That's the difference.

IMO It is not even a question Luck is the best QB remaining on the schedule.

I have to agree...
We need to exorcise that demon. The last few times we have played Cutler and Marshall they have owned us. I don't think our corners match up with Marshall and Alshon very well.

NY@DAL Lose - I think the Giants are still good with good coaching. They win a close one. Hope I am wrong.

PHIL@DAL Win - The Cowboys win by running the ball and keeping the eagles offense off the field

DAL@CHI Win

DAL@PHI Win - Eagles fade

IND@DAL Lose

DAL@WASH Win

11-5 conference champs

A loss to the Giants and the Cowboys will fade. A loss Sunday night would make the Cowboys 1-3 in their last 4 games with 2 losses of those losses to the cellar dwellers in the NFC East. If they can't stop playing down to the level of struggling opponents they won't go anywhere.

Yeah, you can remove "probably" from his statement. Replace it with "easily".

If the Cowboys are sitting at 11-3, the Colts are not going to be favorites coming into AT&T...I doubt they will even at 10-4.

Agree. A lot can change for both teams between now and then, but as it stands now, Dallas should be favored at home.
