:I talked to my son on the phone during the Giants game and he says that the Giants are the worst team that we could meet in the play-offs. Worst meaning the team that has the best chance of beating us like a rented mule. My Son says the play of Romo lately, lack of a running game, and a less than 100% secondary and T.O. will result in the 4th loss for our Head Coach in the play-offs. The problem I am having is coming up with a good counter argument!!!

Watching the Giants secondary and the pass rush Sunday tells me that the Cowboys Defense needs to show up for this game.

Cowboy's father needs help with good (non-homer) argument!!!:bang2::eek:::bang2::eek:::bang2:

thats pretty much the truth he speaks..

this team will go as far as Romo can take us

if he doesn't show up and play like he has these last 3 weeks then we will lose.

I think his assessment is way off. Its one thing to think we may lose. Its another to think that there is any chance that the Giants will beat us like a rented mule. If we ever make it as far as the Super Bowl, I still don't think even the Pats will make us look like a rented mule. I can understand Romo's play. You never know which Romo will show up. He has had off days like everyone else but that isn't an excuse that can carry over game to game either.

I also don't see where we have any lack of a running game. It definitely isnt perfect but Barber has usually gotten the job done. If your son is going by the Skins game, well if we get some decent receivers connecting with Romo the first quarter, that shouldnt be an issue. I dont see the O-line of the Bucs being in direct comparison to our O-line. There will be a difference next weekend and I believe our Oline will be more than ready.

Please ask your son what time your dog will go the bathroom tomorrow too. Nostradamus could only dream of those certain world wide events.

Exactly Rowdy. It was the same way when we faced them the second time. They were on a roll. They sacked the Eagles for a record amount of times, they were healthy now etc... Well we all know how that played out.

The fact is we match up differently with the G Men than Tampa or even New England. We are much bigger and are just as fast defensively as Tampa with a more powerful offensive line. We have better running backs and a better QB and not to mention our receivers.

The Giants have no Shockey who is usually Eli's #1 target when we play each other. I don't know the name of his replacement but he is no Shockey and is not as fast. Maybe that will help Roy in coverage a bit.

We have TG back and no one has seen him play his best game yet. This could result in big games for Crayton and Witten as the Giants can't cover everybody if TG happens to catch a couple of passes. Now if we all believe in miracles and T.O. happens to be able to play and play well, I really like our chances in this one.

How could anyone not?

The key is if Jason Garret calls the right game today. We can all say when Romo is off but Jason has shown that he can get hooked on his own fumes a couple of times this year. We are truely the better team. We just need to bring it and hope luck falls on our side health wise a bit.

Although your son made a few points -now is the time to explain to him
that he is adopted and has been marked out of the family will. Tell him
upon changing his football loyalities -we will be allowed to come to family
parties(especially yhe cowboy super bowl one):laugh2:

He should be grounded and his mouth washed out with soap.

Tell him to turn off ESPN.

Looks like a Favre Vs. Brady matchup is in the works, I hope not though.
Maybe a Romo vs. Brady, or Garrard vs. Favre.

My favorite quote. Wonder what he had to say about the great running game the Giants had yesterday. With the amazing 3.3 yard average total. Jacobs dominated going for 34 yards, 2.6 avg. Bradshaw 66 yards, 3.9 avg.

Well, in all fairness. The Cowboys did put up one rushing yard in their last game. Most likely part of the reasoning behind his opinion.

So far, our O line has done a great job against the Giants twice and I'm sure it's a source of pride on their part. All the crap talk from Strahan and Co. and nothing coming from the mouths of our line, just actions on the field. Unless Gurode is not healthy and there are problems, I don't think their D is that scary.

Our health is the factor. TO, Newman, Gurode (Romo's thumb??) are question marks and the only thing that might level the playing field. Outside of that the Cowboys are the better team and all they have to do is execute.

How have the Giants all the sudden become the team most likely to beat us. :D These titles that they are passing out are amazing. First it was the so called "hottest team in the NFC". Now we have to worry about the so called "team most likely to beat the cowboys." Is this based on their previous losses to us? On their loss to the deadskins? Oh wait! It's all based that they looked good against the Patriots! The game they *almost* won. Eli looked good in that game! Right before his meltdown!

That's fine and dandy. But he should at least say that the Giants too stunk running the ball. Bad is bad.

This is texas ;) So after his mouth is washed out with soap, it should be washed out with some sort of atomic hot sauce :)

Yes, and for the 1,000,000th time, we didn't show up to play that game. Anyone with an ounce of intelligence knows this, but then again, you're a Redstain fan.

I can't believe how Giant fans are so overlooking Glenn and what he should at least give us with Owens back. They will have to worry about not only Owens, but Witten and Crayton. Glenn, if his speed is still there, should have alot of opportunities for big plays.

You're either trolling, or were buying your teams own hype into thinking that game meant something. :D
