"Randle may inherit some of those passing snaps, but he is nowhere near the blitz pickup artist that McFadden is. Last Sunday McFadden was money during blitz pickup."

"Willing blocker who shows the ability to pick up blitzes and will chip defenders with good intent and purpose."

dez needs to step up and just shut up and play. Seems like every week he's on the sidelines complaining about something. Yes he's missed on some plays where he's open. But the plays he cant get open are way more in numbers. Play and keep focused and i think he'd be a focal point that could help carry the team.
Maybe you need to watch this and revise your statement. He's one of the most positive players on the team stop letting these clowns in the booth tell you he's on the sidelines complaining.

Agree with most of the OP. This is what I see differently:
a. Teams will STACK the box, make Dak beat them.
b. Teams are game planning against Cole and double him most of the time.
c. Brown makes some key tackles, but yes teams are targeting him, not all bad.

We don’t really know that dez is complaining.
As a fan it really pisses me off seeing that criticism....fans do it but the announcers do it to. For all we know he could be saying he's open. It wouldn't be the first time someone lied on him and their being evidence he wasn't being the guy people claimed he was being.

Beasley will need to step up in order to supplement the short yardage running game. He should be getting 6-7 catches a game. The fact that he only has 18 catches in 7 games is a low key disturbing stat about this season. Dez is what he is at this point. Everyone wants him to be Fitzgerald when in reality he's more Boldin. I liked the way they used him last game.

Yeah I don't care what these guys make. Beasley has been getting the pass for these subpar to bad games and now it's becoming concerning.

Good thoughts but I think you're calling out the wrong receiver. Cole Beasley has been MIA this year. He's the first guy who needs to step it up.

I would agree but I wonder how much of that is playcalling and/or Dak forcing balls to Dez.
Twill had much bigger numbers too last year, even when Dez played. Maybe Dez is holding the offense back...(tongue firmly in cheek)

Beasley is getting doubled now because teams don't worry about Dez.

This is true. Definitely not seeing the double teams on Dez that we've seen in previous years.
At least most teams are still using their top CB on Dez. At some point that will likely change when they realize a backup Safety is all they need.
