Witten is the biggest factor our Offense has regressed. He should have retired and it is quite shocking we gave him a new deal

Smith is still recovering and having to play way too much, he should be subbing in and not a full time-player yet. You can see he does not trust his knee yet, this team is doing him a disservice by playing him so much. He needs to be a part time player the rest of the year and hopefully be a starter by next year. I believe he has the talent, he just cant get the knee to do what he needs it too yet.
Same with Brown, needs more help over the top. Not ready to be left on an island while they rotate the safeties to the rookies. Too much too fast.
Better be careful these coaches don't lose these players - ie confidence.....

People really wanted Mo back? Lol Brown is fine. It's funny though because early in the year he was at rcb/slot and looked great. He's having growing pains on the left side. Lewis is a fan favorite now on the right side. Left side is where the big dogs go. If Brown doesn't get better (while he hasn't been anywhere near as bad as OP thinks) they should switch him and Lewis to see if Lewis can survive where the big dogs stay.

Agreed.

Poor contain by the DE's and who knows what the LBers were doing.

This is exactly what the problem was in that game. Our defensive ends were getting reached blocked and it was easy picking to the sidelines. The LB's were stopped from scraping and were not filling at all.

It was purely an adjustment to the cap re-signing.
If he retires/gets cut, there is zero dead money for next year and we gain 6.5 million in cap

The MAJOR concern should be RUN D. We've already allowed 3x100 yd rushers in 5 games. You can't win in this league when you can't stop the run. When CB and S have to watch and support the run then they are more likely to get burned.

2 of them games are without probably the best run stopping LBer in the nfl.

Wait, what?

Zeke turned it up because he saw he was getting outplayed by a rookie? How did you come to that conclusion? GreenBay is playing against one of the worst rushing defenses in the league who is also missing their best linebacker. Zeke got going because the creases started to open.
