I agree with this. Yet, when you call for drafting a Guard or a Center early, nobody wants to hear it. Talking about fan base here.

This is the first year this OL has been together. I think there probably should be some growing pains but on the other hand, you expect guys like Adams to come through for you. You expect vets to play to a certain level. It's just not happening IMO. I think it's more then just the talent. I think at some point, you have to accept the fact that we are missing assinments on much to regular a basis. How many guys have come completely clean, right up the middle on us of late? This should not happen regardless of who is in at QB. At some point, you have to look at exactly what is going on with the scheme. It's not as if our players are getting physically defeated. That would suggest a problem with talent. Our players do not seem to be in a position to make the blocks. Can it honestly be all on the backs? I don't think so. Something is not right in the scheme or the technique.

I don't feel sorry for him. His ego got the best of him. It's his own fault that he refused to develop a QB and go with old guys he trusts like Testaverde and Bledsoe. Do you really think if Bill said "Jerry, I really like this young QB in the draft, let's trade up to acquire him" Do you think Jerry wouldn't have forgiven Bill for a weak record if he was grooming a young QB in the process? Parcells also did little to add talent to our offensive line always seeking to start late round draft picks and looking for bargains.

He is responsible for his own demise here. This is his fault. It's pathetic that he plays the pity card in the press conference when its own damn fault that we are in this condition. He is just manipulating you all just like he does to everyone else. Sorry but as someone who asked to bring Parcells to this team in 2002, I'm not falling for it.

We were a really bad football team when Bill got here if you remember. I mean REALLY BAD!!!!!! He has upgraded our D which was in shambles when he got here. Now, whoever missed on the O linemen in the draft needs to be called out. Was it Bill, surely not Jerry, or our scouting guy? He has also missed on bringing in Koiser and Fabini. In fact, it seems that, for example, in Bills time here a team like the Bears have addressed their line issues with smart moves in FA while we get these average to below average FA's. Also think that if he is trying to win right now we should have gone after a fat #@*#&@**@ like Sam Adams in FA to just stuff the run. I don't know who to lay all the blame on. Probably a combination of a few people. What is funny is that had we scored at the end of the half I truly think we win that game, and we are talking about Philly being in disaray instead of us! It is such a long season, and a roller coaster ride for most teams. Look at the Panthers. Won 4 in a row, and now on the radio their fans are panicking.

We didn't sign Bill to upgrade us from Campo. We could have signed a dozen other coaches if we just wanted to be respectable. We brought Bill here to contend for a title and he hasn't done that and we are not doing that this year either. Do you really think Jerry or the Scouting director is going to say "No Bill, you can't have your guy" Please!

I think BP is about done.
If it wasn't apparent before(and it has been to many), it had to be apparent to all last night that this team just doesn't respond to him.
I don't know what it looks like in person but watching this team on TV they just look listless, save for a few players.
And I am beginning to believe Bradie James and Ayodele are hugely overrated.

I don't recal saying that we hired Bill to simply make us respectable. I am just pointing out that when he took over we had been what 5-11 for 3 straight years? HE HAS MISSED ON THE O LINE. However, do you think we are the only team that has had a hard time getting a quality quarterback? Ask the Ravens and their defense if they would like to upgrade their QB. How about Miami. Buffalo. The Bronco's fans are already calling for a guy that played QB at football power Vanderbilt! If it was so easy to hit on a young QB then everybody would be doing it.

Bill looked "defeated" last night. I'm not talking about when it became clear that he literally was defeated, i'm talking about every shot I saw of him.He looked passionless and resigned to a fate that he seemed to know was in store for him and his team well before it became apparent.

That's because he knows that everyone else knows that he's a fraud when it comes to picking the groceries. He made this mess, along with a little help from Jerruh.

I actually dont think he is a fraud at all picking the groceries.. The talent level is unquestionably much better than it was before he got here. Oline not good, but otherwise much, much better.

He has chosen poor assistants if you ask me!

So why do you think the O-line played better in 2003.

He picked Carter. Too bad he did drugs, which led to his downfall. So, I guess you're right.

Last year, no one was complaining about Bledsoe the first two months of the season.

Hindsight says we should have signed Delhomo but at the time, he was basically Tony Romo, a player with no pedigree whose only claim to fame was beating us on Christmas Eve 1999.

This is not true. There were definatly those who were not in with Bledsoe even then. As for Delhomme, well, there have been plenty of QBs who were available and debated on this board. To me, many were as good, if not better options, then Bledsoe given the state of our OL.

We really only have to go back a couple of weeks ago and discuss Volek. Nobody wanted Volek then because two QBs were enough. If Bledsoe packs it in (which I don't think he will do) tomorrow, I wonder how attractive that option might look to us?

couldn't agree more:

if anything he has tarnished his image since being here as well.

I will give him one credit: at least he finally had the nerve to go with someone else at QB last night
