Offense - The offense is good, real good. The offensive line did a great job of run blocking and pass blocking. The manhandled a decent Giants defensive line. Romo looked a little rusty in the first half, but he settled down and had an incredible game. The Giants couldn't cover our receivers. Witten was open all day! Terrell Owens had a great 2nd half. He was great on the short, intermediate, and long passes. Crayton did not disappoint as the #2 receiver, and Sam Hurd looks like a very good #3 receiver. JJ had a good game, and Barber had a great game. We have five legitimate pass catchers on this team.
Defense - Henry and Williams were horrible. We really, really miss Newman. Reeves was decent for his first start. Hamlin also looked decent. Spears seemed to be non-existant. The Ferguson injury really hurt. Ware and Spencer are very disruptive. Spencer is going to be a great player. The Giants seemed to be giving Diehl some help with Ware from the FB and RB. The run defense wasn't great, and the pass defense was awful. We need a healthy Newman to made a superbowl run. With Newman starting, Roy will be able to play more near the LOS. He seemed to play in coverage most of the game, which isn't his strong point.
The Cowboys need to rest Newman for two more weeks. The Cowboys should be able to beat Miami and Chicago without him. Both teams have horrible offenses.
