Joey Bosa DE Ohio St- Unless Hardy is brought back we've kinda backed ourselves into this corner haven't we? I think Bosa will be a fine player and most likely won't bust, but he's no 4th overall pick imo. But that's what happens when you go into the draft with a glaring need. He does end up being a day 1 starter and being a solid rookie contributor which what I think the FO is looking for.
Braxton Miller WR Ohio St- We are said to be coveting the Ohio St boys and our weakness at #2 WR became painfully obvious once Dez went down. Braxton had huge potential to grow into a real weapon at WR and could even bring some crazy thing called creativity to the offense (gasp!) Would fill the Dewayne Harris role but with a lot more natural talent.
Zach Sanchez CB Oklahoma- Still 1 glaring need left at CB and with the attention being paid to the position in FA I think it's all but given we take a CB in the top 3 rounds. I chose Sanchez because he checks a lot of boxes and creates turnovers 37 starts and 15 ints), but I could also see it being some off the radar guy like White from Ga Tech. Either way, young blood is needed at CB and a guy capable of making a play sure would help.
James Bradberry S/CB Samford- 4th round small school safety project? Check. Bradberry is a big athletic kid (6'1 210 4.45 40) that probably lacks the quickness and hips to play CB, but if everything turns out well he could make a pretty good FS somewhere along the line.
Ronald Blair DE App St- just 1 DE from this class isn't enough. Blair may be from a small school, but he can hang with big boys in terms of strength and power. Should at worst be a good anchor and edge setter and can also kick inside and rush.
Kyle Friend C/G Temple- Hopefully Berny's replacement. 4 year starter and tough smart kid who was a team leader. Should check all of the RKG boxes and his versatility helps.
Marshaun Coprich RB Illinois St- could he be this years Thomas Rawls? Worth finding out this late. He has video game stats against lower competition and impressed with a 4.45 40 at 5'8 207 at the combine. Big character concern as this genius sold drugs to an under cover cop, but worth a flier.
Jake McGee TE Florida- Could be any TE, but we will most likely take 1 with 1 of these comp picks. McGee is 6'5 250 with soft reliable hands. Needs work but good 2nd TE could be in his future.
