Don't get your hopes up, Archer said point blank that if Gurode can't go Procter is starting. By the way, I've seen every game that Preston has ever played in during his NFL career, he's not much of an upgrade over Procter other than the fact that he might have the strongest lower-body in the entire NFL, but his technique is equally as bad.

I agree with you, and we're damn lucky that it's the freaking Chiefs we're facing. But if it's much more than a week we are screwed.

But Rampage, didn't we all think Gurode was horrible based on how he had played at guard? Yes, he WAS horrible there. But he was a natural center moved to guard. Once he moved back to center he bacame a pro-bowler. Proctor is also a natural center that was moved to guard last year. So maybe - just maybe - he'll pleasently surprise at center. I'm not ruling him out as backup in his natural position, for once, just yet.

If Proctor is to play I would much rather see him at center than guard. He has had to come in for Gurode before and did a decent job (not great) but as a guard he looked very bad
