If Proctor is to play I would much rather see him at center than guard. He has had to come in for Gurode before and did a decent job (not great) but as a guard he looked very bad

I'd rather see him in a different uniform but for one game he's ok at center (I need a shower after saying that). :

I would like to see us upgrade as well. All I'm saying is I have seen Proctor at center and at gaurd he has done decent at center and awful at the gaurd spot. I think the only reason Proctor is here is because he is backup at center.

FWIW, Preston is listed as the backup center on nfl.com and dallascowboys.com, but he's been inactive so far this season, probably because Procter is more flexible - he can play poorly at multiple positions.

From what I've gathered from people that shall remain nameless Procter's problem isn't so much his ability, it's his attitude.

what game was this? the last time I remember him coming in for Andre was during the 2nd Philly game in 07 and he was terrible.

He played the game vs Carolina in 07 and did a decent job. I'm not claiming Procter was a great player I said he did a decent job and if he is forced into play I would much rather see him playing the center position than the guard.
