Isn't that what was said about Bobby Carpenter?Jacksonville is still "trying to figure out" where he "fits". That is sort of what people around here were saying in April. Of course at the time before the McClain suspension, some also thought our LBers were set.
That's surprising I think I remember announcers saying he was beasting during the preseason I did not know he didn't play
I agree i don't want to get into that debate either but I agree that is really weird he didn't play I wonder if he is hurt besides his kneeThat's what I thought, also. I'm not bagging on the guy nor do I want to delve into the Smith/Jack debate, but it's interesting that he didn't play a single snap. That's just weird.

I agree 100% with youTough to say but if it was performance related, I would be REALLY surprised. That dude is a beast (at least, I thought).
If the rumors were true about the Pats wanting Smith, than he he would have never made it to the 3rd.I wasn't a Myles JAck fan but I would've been fine taking him in the 2nd and most likely getting JAylon Smith in the 3rd.

They weren't true according to Broadus who knows people in the Patriots organization who said they had another guy targeted.
I honestly can't see any team risking a 2nd on a guy that could potentially never play again. Especially the Patriots.
Patriots are one of the few teams who have that luxury. They plug and play anybody and they usually work out. Just my two cents, I could be wrong though.

I'd trust Broaddus as far as I could throw him though............ and that's clearly not very far.
Fair enough but does anyone really believe the Cowboys & ..... PATRIOTS ... Were the only teams looking at Jaylon in the 2nd? Yeah right. The Patriots somehow got attached to it to give it some credibility.
I'm a big JAylon Smith fan.. He was the best player in the draft imo. But we reached before we had to.
