Don't think so? Check this out:
"Obviously with the situation they're in and we're in, we both need this game very badly," said Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, who has received most of the blame for his team's 1-1 start.
"You're going to find two teams fighting and giving it everything they've got ...It's one of those games that's very important to both franchises. We understand that and I think Carolina does as well."
Indeed, Panthers middle linebacker Jon Beason said it's an understatement to call the game "vital" to his team's hopes of repeating as NFC South champs.
"Hey, 0-3 is not a possibility," Beason told Carolinagrowl.com. "This is a must-win."
Signs point to a tight game

What's happened so far this season on Monday Night Football suggests the Cowboys and Panthers will go down to the wire.
The first three MNF games of 2009 have been decided by a total of nine points, the smallest combined margin of victory for the first three MNF games in a season.
The history of the Cowboys-Panthers series also points to a nail-biter. Eight of the 10 games between the clubs have been decided by 10 points or less. Four of those games were decided by less than a touchdown.
Las Vegas oddsmakers have established the Cowboys as a 9-point favorite.
