Romo takes on the doubters
The Cowboys are 4-0, but their victories have come against teams that have combined for only three wins.
But has anyone stopped to consider that maybe those teams continue to lose because the Cowboys left them bruised and battered?
That's Tony Romo's theory at least.
"I think part of it is we are pretty good," Romo said. "And part of it is that teams have gotten some injuries and it's hurt them in games they played after they played us. It seems we have had a few teams that have gotten injured when they play us."
When the Giants faced the Cowboys in the opener, they lost defensive end Osi Umenyiora and running back Brandon Jacobs — to knee injuries in the first half.
Dolphins linebacker Zach Thomas suffered a concussion against Dallas.
Defensive backs Charles Tillman and Nathan Vasher, defensive tackle Tommie Harris and guard Ruben Brown all got hurt when the Bears faced the Cowboys.
The injuries the Giants and Dolphins suffered against the Cowboys probably weren't much of a factor in how they played the following weeks. But I'm thinking the Bears probably have a better shot at beating the Lions with Tillman and Vasher in the lineup.
But as Tim MacMahon of the Dallas Morning News pointed out today, the league's three other undefeated teams haven't exactly been facing Murderer's Row either. Here's a look at the competition of the undefeated teams:
Cowboys: 3-13
Patriots: 4-12
Packers: 5-11
Colts: 6-8
Still, I think it's safe to say all four are pretty darn good teams and will continue to win. As Bill Parcells said so often, you are what you are.

Romo: 'I'm Duncanesque'
Sam Hurd says Tony Romo is like an NBA point guard in the way he distributes the ball to different receivers.
"He's our Tony Parker," Hurd said.
Told Hurd's comments, Romo joked, "I'm more Tim Duncanesque."
Romo had completed passes this season to eight different receivers, six of which have caught TD passes.
But Romo insists he doesn't make a conscious effort to spread the ball around.
"You have to do what is best for the team," he said. "You have to throw it to the guy that is open and that I see
see first that is open. When you start trying to make people happy or try to pick out certain people, that is when you are going to run into trouble. I've learned that. So I just trust my instincts and go do it."
