Regardless of what anyone thinks about TC or Crayton or Newman or anyone else for that matter who have spoken on the issue, one thing is clear both Witten and especially Romo have some major fence mending to do. No one likes a back stabber.

Wait, what? Can we establish that a back was stabbed by someone before concluding that Romo and Witten have fence-mending to do? We cut a past-his-prime 35 year old WR with a huge, divisive personality. Worse things have happened to a team.

If, and it's a completely unestablished 'if', if Romo or Witten had anything to do with getting TO off the roster, it's because TO took it upon himself to get in the way of what the team is trying to accomplish. There's not a shred of evidence either of these guys would want TO gone for reasons of petty vanity. If he needed to go, and they said so, that's not backstabbing. It's sucking up and doing what needed to be done.

I'm ready. I like this team and think we have some good talent and can win with who we have. I'm looking forward adding some more good young talent in the upcoming draft who can contribute this season.

But to say that.... it is implying alot. If the team weren't thinking that he would said its the past , lets move on. If he isnt sold, Im sure 75% of that locker room isnt either.

Regardless, its funny when anyone other than Witten, Romo, Ware says anything about the team that might or should be kept in house, people rave for them to shut the hell up. But when the forementioned players do.. its I love that guy!

I see a double standard amongst the fan base. Sure they are stars and guys like TC, Crayton, Ellis, Newman might just appear as whiners but there opinion is one that should be just as readily listened too.

mosdef a double standard...

If Romo didn't want him here...then it was for a good reason.....

very biased reasoning...like i said before TO vocally had romos back when fans, and media were bashing him.

I was just about to say... This sounds like something The Player would say.

I would almost welcome back Hard Knocks if it meant I could see the coaches sit everyone down the first day of vet minicamp and tell them, "Listen up. All of you who want to bellyache about TO being gone, there's the ****ing door."

Choice, you're not a pimple on Romo's *** right now. Backs like you are a dime a dozen in this league. Shut the *** up and play.

he did play...and better than romo did in the last month of the season. Now granted he is not of romos status, and romo is more important to our success, but we can all agree there is more concerns among players and fans about romo than choice right now.

And yet a lot of them adore Terrell Owens.

A player who seemingly refuses to accept blame for anything that goes wrong on the field and has never hesitated to throw others in the fire instead.

I know someone who knows someone who says Tashard Choice has been saying that Romo led the charge in getting T.O. removed from the team.

Here's my advice for TC.

Shut up kid. Don't start running off at the mouth.

I love this kid right now. And I hope it stays that way.

But his PUBLIC comments in this blog are not good IMO.

Don't say 'You never know. We don't know the situation behind it.' to a reporter. Why? Because it's going to be twisted and reshaped into the following headline/thought.

'Tashard Choice thinks it's possible Romo was behind the Cowboys releasing Terrell Owens.' And that's not a good thing.

Tony Romo was behind getting rid of TO, who cares. Why the big secret? The QB didn't like him so we got rid of him, life goes on. TC is a good kid just wanting an explanation. The NFL is full of rude awakenings kid, suck it up...

trade him for a third rounder to help you move up the draft to grab someone in the late first. im sorry but it seems like TO has already rubbed off him. both he and Crayton need to go. get something for him while his stock is high. no need for more malcontent on this team no matter the reason. barber, felix and a rookie free agent or alozno coleman and we are good to go. i love you tashard but you need to just shut up and play when asked.

First of all TC isn't in that clique.

Crayton is a well known yapper. He yaps at other teams, he yaps about what other players on his team are thinking and he can't say no to a mic.

Ellis is a whiner who does the same trick every offseason.

Newman made his mark by throwing Roy 'he's a deer in the headlights' Williams under the bus last season.

When have Romo, Ware or Witten ever made comments of that nature?

They haven't.

Yeah, I agree that tashard should not give the media anything to sink their teeth into, true or not. (I guess thats one thing we will agree upon). I really hope this is not true though. I like and support any tony, but if Romo did have anything to do with this, then I have no respect for the guy (here is where whe will disagree...AGAIN) His, blaze' blaze' attitude was more of a problem (to me) than TO (and romos attitude was not that high on my list as to why this team failed) but even more so than that, you just dont lobby against a guy who backed you thorougly at your most disappointing moments. Romo is on record saying TO was the first person to call and lend moral support. Then he backed him again when Romo was being bashed (for no reason in my opinion) after the NY loss, and he was integral part of Romos success. If Romo did that he is an ingrate...and not even you DC or theebs can deny that.

I havent said anything in this thread, so you know what I am sick of this crap being thrown at me.

So up yours.

Ok. Listen to this interview.

Tom Orsborn on ESPN 1250

Seems Orsborn saved that 'less than enthusiastic' endorsement of Romo from Choice for the article which comes out tomorrow.

Someone just tell Tashard Choice he hasn't earned his stripes yet so he shouldn't be 'talking' as much.

Go to work kid to make yourself a better player. Focus on football. Stop answering questions about Terrell Owens and Tony Romo.

As a matter of fact, just avoid the media.

Is the draft here yet?

He didnt endorse romo with steve dennis a couple of weeks ago either. He was promoting his website, sound familiar? I like choice, he doesnt have a single skin on the wall and if he goes down a path of going after romo, witten and garrett well he simply wont be around too long.

And one thing I remember that I wish I never heard about was during the pittsburgh game, in the third quarter buffalo bill and Choice were standing on the bench taunting the steelers crowd.

Only in Dallas can the third rb get one on one interviews on tv and feature articles written about them.

This bashing of the qb has got to be put to an end. I really hope romo sets some of these guys straight, especially since romo isnt talking about anyone and guys like todd archer have said romo didnt say he wanted buffalo bill gone.

I still believe that the only reason TO was cut was due to the constant harping of the media. It was purely fantasy, and many fans were swayed. The media is very powerful and can easily dupe lots and lots of people. This then lead to a public witch hunt that Jerry bought into to placate the mobs of angry Cowboys fans from 2008 that needed a scapegoat, and TO was the easy target.

TO's release was invented by the media, and fans that fell for it. I don't think Romo, Witten, or Garrett had anything to do with it.
