I'm going to be doing something a little different with the mock drafts.
We are pretty much settled in on who we want in the 1st and 2nd rounds of the draft.

Now let's forget about those 2 rounds and focuse on rounds 3 thru 7.
For this thread, let's look at the third round, and specifically the Wide Receiver position.
What three options at WR do you like in the 3rd round, and why?
Here are mine.

3.WR Todd Watkins 6'3 205 *4.40 40*
He once ran a 4.29 and was considered the nations best deep threat. Last year he didn't have a steller year so his stock dropped. He put on 15 pounds of weight just to impress the scouts but I think it hurt his 40 time. He is easily a 4.32 guy IMO. I think he could be a solid 2 in a year or 2, but can come in and play sparingly for a couple of downs a game this year.

3.WR Derek Hagan 6'2 208 *4.42 40*
First off he doesn't have the best hands in the world, but he can still catch the ball. When you look at this 40 time, take this in mind. The guy had the fastest 10yard drill time. This means that he is explosive off the line and can get to top speed instantly. I think players like Terrell Owens and Steve Smith have those same characteristics in explosion. As far as his flat out receiving ability, you can't jam him, and he runs excellent routes while being able to read zones really good. I project him as a third rounder. He could be a number 1 guy in a couple of years, and could come in a play a little this year.

3.WR Gregg Jennings 5'11 197 *4.42 40*
This guy played for a small school, but put up lights out numbers. Who knows if it can translate into the pros, but in the 3rd round, you have to give it a try. He can catch the ball, he runs good routes, gets off the line pretty good, and he can get deep on you. He has all of the tools including punt return ability to be a great 3rd or even 2nd receiver in this league, and you never know, he could grow into a number 1 thru the years.

98 catches, 1259 yards, 14 touchdowns in 2005.
20 punt returns, 172 yards, 8.2 average in 2005.

I have to read up more on Wilson, but I do like Nance. I think Webb could be had in the 4th, and that was where I was going to put his name when I came out with the 4th round WR picks, but I do like Webb.

Maurice Stovall - Notre Dame
Martin Nance - Miami (OH)
Travis Wilson - Oklahoma (the most underrated WR in the draft)

1. Maurice Stovall......The End...

I think the WR rankings are really jacked up at the top of this draft. IMO, in any other year, none of the consensus top 4 WR in this draft would be picked in the first round. However, just like last year, nobody even comes close to agreeing on WR slots 6 thru 20. I'm way higher on Bouknight than anyone, but I saw him enough to know he's for real and think he's a better pro prospect than Hagan. My completely unscientific WR grades:

Second Round

1. Sinorice Moss
2. Chad Jackson
3. Santonio Holmes
4. Demetrius Williams
5. Maurice Stovall

Third Round
6. Jovon Bouknight

Fourth Round
7. Todd Watkins
8. Derek Hagan
9. Mike Hass
10(A) Greg Jennings
10(B) Cory Rodgers

If chad jackson makes it to the second round I will buy the cowboys. And if he is there when we draft, my first decision will be to draft Chad jackson in the 2nd round!!!!!!!!!

I view both Jennings and (my favorite) Brandon Marshall as 4th round picks. I'll be happy if we get either one of them.

Hagan looks like the ultimate boom or bust prospect. If he can catch, he could be Chad Johnson. If he can't, he's Quincy Morgan.
