I just heard on the ticket ticker that he was signed this morning by miami. I have not seen it anywhere yet though so I am not sure where the ticket is getting it from, he was there for a visit yesterday though. They might as well play at texas stadium in 09 instead of it getting turned into an outlet mall.

Calvin Watkins just passed along word that Nate Jones will visit the Dolphins tomorrow.
The veteran corner, set to enter his fifth year, visited the Vikings today. And while it was a positive experience for Jones -- the Cowboys final remaining unrestricted free agent (not counting non-tendered restricted free agent Tyson Thompson) -- he set to test the waters with the Valley Ranch Alumni Association of South Beach.
Keith Davis signed with the Dolphins yesterday, joining Bill Parcells' crew of ex-Cowboys that includes coaches (Sparano, Bowles, Pasqualoni, Rodgers), personnel staff (Ireland, Gaine) and players like Jason Ferguson, Sean Ryan, Joey Thomas, Trey Darilek, Junior Glymph and Matt Baker

These former Cowboys' reserves (minus Ferguson of course) are really going to have significant roles on this Dolphin team. I liked their signing of Josh McCown, but I can't see that team winnng more than 4 games in that Division. Is that a good foundation for re-building?
I don't know, but we'll find out soon enough.

Hey Big Bill is tryin to sure out the special teams down there thats for sure. He even signed my friend ex-chief Boomer Grigsby a couple weeks ago. He's kind of like Oliver Hoyte (which ironically KC just signed and didnt resign Boomer) in that they were both LB's out of college and converted to FB. Oliver did before Boomer as he did just last season, but Boom is a solid special teamer so maybe he can stick with Miami. I'd love it. Probably give me a reason to go and check out a game. Do we play Miami next year?

In the 80s, Denver became known as Cowboys West. I guess Miami is now Cowboys East.

Good pick up by the Dolphins to get all of these former Cowboys who already know the system with little cost attached. Nate was one heck of a blitzer.

It really shows the talent difference between the two teams. But I don’t think Miami wins 3 games next year. But maybe in time they can become a decent team. But these are clearly Parcells signings and not Irelands in my opinon.

Just another expected loss than can be replaced in the draft.

yea, when he cherry picks the easy stuff, it's just as easy to replace. keith davis hurt a little but we'll find someone to step up. the rest, a wash. lose nate jones bring in busta move or something.

no loss. but man that ireland/parcells eye!!!

I'm getting my chops busted by this friend of mine who is a huge fish fan seemingly every day. I finally just told him he needed to chill the hell out because those backups can be replaced.

The media down here will spin it as if the dolphins continue to weaken us. Parcells is already GOD down here, it's so hilarious. I wish we played them again this year. I hate the mullets so bad.

No need to replace Nate Jones in the draft cause we probably able to find players like him in the ranks of the undrafted rookies -- although Jones & Reeves were 7th rounders--most of the rest of the guys Parcells picking up from us were undrafted guys.

Further evidence that there will possibly be a deal between Dallas and Miami concerning first round picks.
