As disenchanted as people are right now, if they dont get off to a great start that place will be a morgue by the end of October. People are going to really lay into Jones and the 'Boys at home in 2009 if they even remotely sniff mediocrity.

There is no doubt about it, that is why owens got boo'd against the giants.

wait till this year. Wade, jerry and owens are going to get it constantly.

Bledsoe and testaverde had to deal with it, every snap. It was very unfair to testaverde, he was treated terribly here. He didnt even play that bad given the circumstances.

What part of VT's botched handoff to Richie Anderson against Pitt did you miss.

That game was one of the most bitter losses in Cowboy history because 5000 drunk all-male Steeler fans had used the weekend as boys-night-out junket time, and while they were dead silent for most of the game the botched Testaverde handoff and last minute Bettis touchdown strarted a Steelers New Years Eve celebration that was, and is, hard to take since Dale Hansen loves to cite it unfairly as a reason Cowboy fans are apathertic.

I can tell you from being there they were down and depressed and silent 'til the Parcells guys tossed away the lead BP was nursing. BP did plenty of good here but bringing in VT wasn't one of them.

your asking me?

Get your facts straight, it was a play that had we converted we win the game. Richie anderson knocked the ball out of testaverde's hands as he was about to hit a wide open keyshawn for the game clinching first down. ANderson was blocking on the play, it wasnt a handoff.

I was there too. For all of his games. He got unfairly boo'd and treated really poor here.

I usually agree with you on many points but not about Vinny. I thought he was absolutely horrible. It was like watching Brad Johnson for 20 weeks. That season was the first time as a Cowboy fan that i feel asleep during games.

Note: On that play, Anderson hit the ball out trying to block because Vinny was so slow to get into his drop back.

The team around him was really bad. He still ended up with decent numbers.

If campbell, glenn and julius were healthy all year I think he would have been fine.

That whole season was just a mess, but IMO He got treated very unfairly.
