The Eagles announced that starting left tackle Jason Peters will not play Sunday night in Dallas.

Peters has a back injury. The Eagles had listed him as questionable before deciding Saturday that he wouldn’t be healthy enough to play.

A seven-time Pro Bowler and two-time All Pro, Peters had played every game since 2013.

Peters last practiced on Tuesday. Lane Johnson practiced at left tackle in his spot and is presumably going to start there Sunday night, which means Dennis Kelly probably takes over at right tackle. Kelly has not started a game since 2012.

Johnson has never started at left tackle in the NFL. His primary matchup in that spot would be Greg Hardy.

That's a problem for them. I don't see them hurting us in the run game anyway but this may affect their ability to pass protect.

Normally, I'd hate to see this and would want to beat them with every man in board. But in this instance, we can use every break we can get.

Hardy will have a huge game!

Dallas will be moving Hardy all over the line for this game. The Eagles have an issue at G and now Johnson and Kelly are the Tackles. You can only help one tackle at a time without compromising the passing game options. NBC, the NFL, media and many fans are praying Hardy doesn't have a monster game Sunday. It is very possible though...

Hey, all the Eagle fans aren't saying. "Awe Shucks" with the loss of Tony Romo. In fact, Inside the NFL showed in the Cowboys-Eagles game last September that Fletcher Cox was rejoicing on the sideline saying "Number nine is down!"

Now with Logan and Rowe running their mouths, I cannot express to you just how bad I want Dallas to win this game!

Good. Kraken will feast. Need to move him around the formation. Their guard play has been about as bad as any team in football. Need to get more out of Gregory.

Eagles will obviously rely on running game and quick slants to counter this. We won't get many sacks unless we take a double digit lead, which, without romo, is unlikely. So the lbs will have to beast. Need Lee and McClain to have the game of their lives

If Seattle couldn't run the ball on us what makes you think the Eagles will be able to?

They can and try a quick passing attack, but that didn't work last time and I doubt it will this time.

This game will be a defensive battle. Who ever makes more mistakes will likely lose.

Lane Johnson is the one that called out Hardy earlier this week. Going to be interesting to see how mad the Kraken is
