The Cowboys are expected to have quarterback Tony Romo under center against the Dolphins in Week 11, but the team knows that all of the ills that took them to 2-7 won’t be erased with Romo back in action.

Defensive end Jeremy Mincey let us know that last week when he pointed out that, for all his charms, Romo isn’t Jesus and other Cowboys spent Monday delivering the same message about the need to be better across the board. Having a full complement of talent on hand should help on that front and it looks like linebacker Sean Lee will make it back from a concussion to face the Dolphins.

Coach Jason Garrett said Lee has passed through the concussion protocol after missing last Sunday’s loss to the Buccaneers.

“We are optimistic,” Garrett said, via the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “We will take the situation day by day. We anticipate him practicing on Wednesday.”

Lee has 66 tackles, a sack and and an interception for the Cowboys in eight appearances this season.

He could have made the difference last week.

He has not made a difference since Philadelphia. They probably should have rested him longer. The Panthers sat Kuechly four games.

I'm still holding out for a dominant linebacker group of Lee, Hitchens, and McClain.

I also haven't given up on our defensive line. With a strong box area, maybe the secondary won't get as many drive enriching penalties for opponents.

I keep reading about what a difference Lee makes out there and I've yet to see how special this guy is. He's the most overrated player we have on the roster and it's not even close.

This is fine and dandy but the coaching staff better have plan 1b ready to go. It's getting old seeing Lee leave the game and then the other team immediately identify the new LB and attack. What a concept, identify a weakness and attack that weakness. Who knew!

I think they should.

We could potentially be risking his career if he gets another one.

Bad move letting this guy play and I think they should wait until December.
