Texas is too high. It will be a young team. If that youth does not step up, then it will also be a very thin team. Maybe next year for them.

Who gave Michigan two first place votes. Every year that team is over rated.

I guess it is only #20, but I don't see why Arkansas is that high. They have a lot of questions at QB. Sure they have McFadden, but you still need a decent QB to get things done. That is what held OU back last season. Arkansas is in the same spot this year and probably even in worse shape.

Really? How did I miss that? :D

OU could have been better if they had a decent QB. Just like Texas could have won the BigXII if their decent QB did not get injured late in the year and they had to rely on a less than stellar back up. That and their poor defense.

bout the only thing I know for sure is the final top 25 will look much different.

ut and ou are not finishing 4 and 8. one of them might finish in that spot but not both of them.

ou has a lot of turnover so right now i think ut will be the big 12 south winner and national title contender.

UT right now is not as strong a team as it was last year. They have a lot of turnover in their program and will be fielding a lot of young guys. They do have an easy schedule. Although road games at A&M are always tough in that rivalry.

Now they will have some guys missing games due to their off the field problems. Sergio Kendall is supposed to be one of the better defenders. It may not matter in the games they actually miss, but missing the experience of real games can be a detriment to these young players down the line during conference games.

I can see UT in contention for a Big 12 title, but not a national title. I didn't think they would contend for one last year and when it counted they weren't. Now they are much more inexperienced. Maybe 2008 or 2009 when all the young guys have learned a thing or two.

UT is probably ranked that high because it is very possible for them to run the table with their schedule.

not only that their team is stacked i really wish Texas played more teams from other conferences their record would look probably the same this year minus a loss or two.,they will either explode in a good way or have a sub par performance at the end of the season.

theyre more experienced in key areas on offense, defense has lost their secondary that didnt really do much anyway, with a revamped scheme i highly doubt they are going to rank 30 plus in the nation in that anymore even if they arent absolutely shutting some people down stopping the run shouldnt be a problem with okam and friends returning, losing crowder and robinson wont help anything but they werent exactly destroying everyone.

Actually, they're about three spots too low... that's cool, though, it'll be fun sneakin' up on people this year...
