I agree with many of you here that I want Hitchens at the MLB position regardless who we put at the Will.

Secondly with Lee on the sidelines, I would have him calling the plays from our DC so he can also be in the ear of Hitchens to call last minute adjustments.

While missing Lee's play sucks, losing his leadership and calling out adjustments hurt even worse.

Hard to be optimistic about the Eagle game.

Too much film out when Lee is out we struggle. Teams isolate Smith and he just doesn’t have the speed in open space. How do you counter that? You give the Eagles a look you haven’t played all season. Much like last year when we played the packers in GB. We showed them something they didn’t expect with 3 DL Lee and Durant was spying. It gave the packers fits.

So what would I do for this game? Well I’ve noticed wentz really loves throwing to the TE’s so I really think we should come out playing Dime in base:

Lawrence
Collins
Irving
Crawford

Then I’d go with Hitchens@ MLB
With Frazier down in the box with him watching the flats/run support.
I’d go with Scandrick and jones in the slot with jones taking Ertz.
Brown and Lewis playing the Outside and I’m playing Heath closer to the Box with Woods as single high. Lets Woods use his instincts and play the ball in the air.

My reasoning ? The eagles don’t really have a Dominant speed burner, Or run game. Yes they have weapons but they throw a lot of underneath and kill you with their TE’s. I think you have to try and smoother that with a flux of Safeties. I just hope Garrett has the ability to make a change and try something different.

Please play Damien Wilson. Move the LBs around to fit and start Damien. He has the size and speed and has played in this defense for 4 years now.

If they insist on having Jaylon out there, they should have him as a SLB and have him rush the passer. Like how Von Miller used to do when Fox was the HC and running the 4-3. ATL does the same thing with Vic Beasley.

I agree. The only couple of plays I have noticed him stand out are the ones where he blitzes up the middle. Seems to do well getting through the line and closing on the QB. But that is absolutely the only thing he seems to do well at this point.

I would agree. My guess without Lee is 49-13. Even the 2013 defense was significantly better than this solid defense without Lee. With Jaylon Smith on the field, getting a stop is nearly impossible - he is that bad. It is 10 on 11.

I already locked in the Eagles to cover -3. I have only bet against the Cowboys a couple of times in my life but this one just seems like collecting free money. Maybe even triple platinum?

I have rational discussion with posters who are rational, and actually history dictates that whenever teams within the NFC East play, records go out the window and the games are typically close, now does that hurt your thongs to hear.
