Need help with a little girl's memorial

Here is a story about a little girl we lost in our community a little while back. We are trying to raise money to build a memorial splash park for other little kids. We need help with an online voting. Please click the second link and vote for Ava's splash park. It would mean an awful lot to her family and the community.

Can't the "powers that be" just build a memorial for both little girls?

I wish I was rich, .. I would reach out and pay for both of these.

I hope they both get the funding that they need.

They shouldn't be competing for this.

Can you even imagine losing a child from a routine tonsillectomy?

My heart aches for those parents.

Actually what this is, is a grant from the company itself towards the construction of the park. We've already raised 80K and this grant is for 50K.

I imaging that is the case. However, I also imagine that someone will help finish the financing. We have already had a few fundraisers.

And I agree about just handing the money out but when there are things such like this that become public access, there are liability concerns and sometimes people protect themselves from simply writing large checks for something like this.
