After having watched the biggest Boys debacle in recent memory I couldnt

help but ponder the future of our beloved team. Below is a series of either ors

that I would appreciate a response from yall on.

1) Is the Cowboys present talent better suited for the 3-4 or the 4-3, Considering we have several stud lineman and 1 adequate linebacker-
a) 4-3 stupid

b) I love the 3-4 and I dont care if our linebackers arent ready

2) During the Skins debacle which was more embarrasing -
a) the fact that our tackles couldnt block anyone or
b) the fact that our coaching staff was unable to make adjustments to give us a chance

3) As these individuals currently stand who is the better NFL back-
a) marion Barber
b) julius jones - julius did appear to be a bit more instinctive and quicker than in previous weeks

4) What the hell happened to terry glenn during or before this game to scare the crap out of him
a) Sean Taylor highlights
b) Bookie

5) Which is more important in a NFL QB
a) pocket presence and being able to move a little
b) ability to scramble and make plays

6) How does Santana Moss get singled up on Glenn again after burning him twice in the previous matchup and knowing Moss is their key offensive player?

a) 4-3 stupid - I DONT MUCH ABOUT THIS SO I CANT HELP HERE

b) I love the 3-4 and I dont care if our linebackers arent ready

b) the fact that our coaching staff was unable to make adjustments to give us a chance - you cant pick one, but in our defense(if you will) it was a game where it was ALL ABOUT THE Commanders, nothing we would have done would have helped. EVERY TIME Bledsoe yelled "Hike" it was like FORE for the defenders to TEE off on him.

b) ability to scramble and make plays - I GOTTA SAY... after watching the NFL Live interview about Glenn and Bledsoe and that they were gushing, smitten with one another and then to see THAT. I WAS SHOCKED!

6) How does Santana Moss get singled up on Glenn again after burning him twice in the previous matchup and knowing Moss is their key offensive player? YEAH I HEAR YA... but GLENN WAS TRYING AND WAS JUST A STEP LATE... but it should have been NEWMAN... must have been a mismatch in the play scheme.

I know Coach Parcells is married to the scheme, but we basically are running a 4-3 anyways the majority of the time. I think letting Ware be a DE would be of tremendous benefit. I am beginning to wonder if he will be able to get the hang of playing linebacker, especially in coverage. He looks terrible and it is not getting better as he gains experience. I just think they are overloading him mentally, as has been mentioned in other threads. We have some very good depth and a 4-3 would make more sense. James is maturing and could handle the middle. I am sure we could get by with Shanle, Fujita and/or Burnett on the outside.

Once the Commanders got even the slightest bit of momentum, we gave it back. Our OL scheme was idiotic and it never changed throughout the game. It just got worse and worse. That was the embarassing part.

3) As these individuals currently stand who is the better NFL back-

b) julius jones - julius did appear to be a bit more instinctive and quicker than in previous weeks

For right now, Barber is the better back. He heads north/south, makes yards after contact and breaks tackles. Jones needs an open field and even then, he doesn't seem able to avoid tackles or especially power through tacklers.

I have no idea. He has had his bell rung by Tony Parrish before and still kept fighting, so I don't know what it is. But it was very maddening to see him duck out like that.

You just need to be able to slide in the pocket and avoid the rush between the tackles. Peyton Manning is not a great scrambler either. Bledsoe does need to get rid of the ball quicker though. He isn't getting good blocking, but he does cause some of his own issues as well.

We are stubborn, plain and simple. We go one way and even if it gets exposed, we rarely change. So we are doomed to repeat the same failures over and over again. It is insane sometimes.

I know everyone hates Owens, I would do it. Having Glenn as our primary weapon works every now and again, but next year he will be even less effective than he is now. I think his time is running out and Johnson is already less than what he used to be.

He does have a swim move, but rarely uses it. If he does not beat with speed, he is too easy to latch onto and gets neutralized.

Both.

Neither. I don't believe Capers would come here, nor do I see Zimmer going anywhere.

Right now, due to injury the 4-3. Come this off season I'd put money on the final holes being plugged. Right now, we're in a bit of a pickle.

You can always max protect. Wshington did the entire game and we never laid a glove on Brunnell.

Julius Jones is the better RB but he is also running tentative due to that high ankle sprain.

Sometimes you have a bad game. Terry had a bad game. I wouldn't read too much into it. He is a proud man who should come back with something to prove.

There is no substitute for pocket presence, not even blazing speed.

If you play scared you will pay the price. Play your game, don't cater to the game they want you to play. Translation...he was going to be on Moss some plays, and not on him some plays. If we had panicked it would have been worse.

Dom Capers hasn't had a good defense in so long no one should remember he was a Defensive Coordinator. He's being highly over rated by some on this forum.
