The players union may eventually minimize his duties or force the owners to cut bait but the owners also love Goodell as the league's figurehead.

If true, it's a clear sign by the owners telling Jerry to sit down and shut up. I thought Jerry's only fight was to have Goodell removed by not renewing his deal. Also, probably means a strike year coming when the current CBA is up.

This isn't about Zeke.

If you poll NFL fans for an approval rating, I guarantee you this guy will poll at numbers comparable to Congress.

Out of all the sports, Goodell is the only commissioner where you of consistent bad press. This shows the NFL doesn't care much for the fans tbh.

NFL keeps on making money, so he I guess gets the credit.

Although I think a nutless monkey could be in charge and they would still be pulling big money.

Kraft must have called Jerry as soon as the first tweet came out....
Jerry calls Adam S. And 20 minutes later the update comes out to remind Goodell what he could have if he could learn not to take small stories and hire a hit squad to smear the future stars of the league.

Boos at the draft aren't loud enough, time for fans to start throwing turnips, cabbage, and rotten tomatoes at the evil guy.....
