I plan on making this my new avatar early next month.
it's not as if there's a wide variety of *good* FF movies. the one in the mid 90s is pretty hilarious at just how sad it was.
That is because it was only made in order for the studio to retain the rights. They never intended to release the movie. The 2005 FF movie was bad and the intent was for it to be a franchise with multiple sequels. I don't know how they got green lit for just one sequel. Yes, the bar is set very low for this Fantastic Four movie. I never really liked the comic version, so my expectations are low anyway.
lol. It's confusing enough for me watching Johnny Storm dressed up in red, white and blue carrying a shield. It would fry my mind to see Evans reprise his FF role again. I will admit Evans portrayed Johnny the best of all characters in FF and FF:ROTSS in regards to the comic book versions in my opinion. I may have considered skipping the latter film if not for the Jessica Alba eye candy. Definitely would have done so if I thought the last movie would portray Galactus as a huge space cloud. I have my fingers crossed for the reboot! No Chris Evans...not going!

I will defer to your opinion concerning Evans' look. I am always looking for these movie adaptations to transfer as seamlessly as possible from their comic book onto film. Stay true to the subject matter. Directors like Christopher Nolan and Joss Whedon "get it" while others like Tim Story and Martin Campbell lack vision to transfer content between the two mediums.as a female I love Chris in anything tight & super hero-ish.
when I saw it's not him well no for me!

Here's hoping Director Josh Trank is up to the task. Chronicle was his first genuine film effort, not great but fairly good. I kinda see how his method could do really well for his FF reboot but I can see how it might falter some too.
lol. I can certainly respect that. Your not knowing about the characters reminds me of an episode of The Big Bang Theory, where the ladies are "researching" the comic books that the guys love so much. The episode has some good scenes of the ladies discussing comic book material like how can Thor hold his hammer while others cannot. That's good stuff for old comic book geeks like me.The only reason I go to the FF & Avengers movies is to ogle the guys...like Chris..Thor.
I don't know a thing about those characters. I'm shallow you see..
No Chris Evans...not going!
No Jessica alba, not going
Kate Mara plays the Sue Storm character (Jessica Alba's old role) in FF. Side note: I hope Cowboys fans will not hold it against her that she was born into the New York Giants/Pittsburgh Steelers' families.

She's very plane jane. She is made up in this photo.
Alba 9-10
Kate 5-6 at best
No Chris Evans...not going!
5 or 6? You need to look up some of her pics. I thought she was smokin hot in Shooter.
