How many people will call for him to be here?

Never mind the so-so record in Tampa... He scowls and cusses and stuff.

Look, we have a coach who is 60-something and has never won a playoff game. Just about any name coach is going to be pretty desirable to a lot of fans. And I think understandably so.

Not a fan of chuckie. It's not that he skowls and cusses so much.

I am just not a fan of his offense.

That would be disappointing, never have been high on him.

For Shanahan hopefully...
He'd be more apt to come here if Wade was HC. Gruden and Shanahan don't really match styles, and he'd step right into the HC spot if we don't win a SB next year.

I'm not big on Shanahan. He hasn't done squat in 10 years and that's in large part because of his atrocious GM skills.

pass, the guy gives up on the running game faster than JG. tampa fans have been calling for his head since last year. his playcalling has been torn to shreds and without his superbowl year, he is 5-16 in dec. 8-16 if you include it.

there were already rumors that if shanahan does indeed come, his son will come over from houston (kubiak wouldn't stand in the shanahan family's way if that's what they wanted).

Man, i would have no problem with Gruden as Head Coach. In fact, Red could learn alot from JG. This is interesting. He looks like a good fit here possibly. He's hardnosed and disciplined and media savvy. He's dedicated to good football. Plus I think he might be perfect for TO... look what he did for AB. If Red would incorporate a few WC wrinkles in his O, this could be an outstanding marriage.

I certainly wouldn't mind a head coach who is 95-77-0 lifetime, 5-4 in the post season and has a Superbowl Ring. I think his teams have overachieved to even be mediocre the last 2-3 years given their talent level.

But no way would Gruden work for Jerry. He couldn't get out from Al Davis fast enough. And Gruden and TO? Yeah, that would be a disaster.

He scowls and cusses and stuff.

But can he enthusiastically signal when the field goals are good or not?
