Maybe that pic is only half of the staidum...the other half is probably not filled because that is where the band set up.

They said they wanted all the windows so the stadium feels like it's outdoors. From the pictures it appears they were successful. Doesn't look like a dome at all.

Does anybody besides me feel extremely jealous of the people there?

This is too cool. What an amazing stadium.

I'm not a country music fan, but I'd love to be there right now just for the atmosphere and to check out the new digs.

oddly enough i am not feeling jealous. i had a chance to pre-buy the concert tickets and chose not to.
i like george strait.
i want my first experience in Cowboys Stadium to be a football game. weird i know but the first time my butt hits that seat i wanna see some football !!
i hope all those folks have a great time, get all the wrinkles worked out of the stadium and traffic and parking.
then when the Boys kick the crap outta the Giants i will be there in section 128 doing the football thing.

I can appreciate that. Curiosity is killing me though. I hope some of the guys who are there will tell us about the whole experience.

kind of neat to see what the seats look like from the 400 level...I'm considering buying some tickets and there are some affordable seats available even though I'd love to sit in the 200s. I guess if all else fails just take a pair of binos, right?

my thought on that is...buy whatever tickets you can afford but most importantly...GO TO A GAME.
its a world of difference than watching it on TV.
i never really cared where i sat at Texas Stadium as long as i was sitting IN
Texas Stadium.

It is interesting that they chose "D-Day" as the day to have their first event. :D

Yeah I'll look at the cheaper ones to just get in there this time and then one day splurge and sit behind the bench.

My first NFL game was at FedEx field the year we should have went 14-2 and ended up dropping a rest-the-starters clunker against the Deadskins. It was awful - got into a fight with a guy who spit on my mom because she was wearing a Cowboys sweatshirt. We were right behind the Boys bench though - I chatted with Terence Newman and Jason Witten, tried to offer pep talk before the playoffs, haha.
