Yeah I can get past anything newer than master of puppets.

General band question: why can't bands produce good, great music after their "heyday".

Ie. Metallica, Paul mccartney(loved Wings and some of his 80s duets) but they can't produce anymore.

Aerosmith was an exception. Elton John, billy Joel...

Come on man that's just dumb criticism, no offense to you. So many Metallica "fans" are saying this about everything Metallica does. Would people rather have had Metallica stop after Master of Puppets? I liked old Metallica, and like the new brand of heavy metal out today. It's a new age people.

No offense taken. Hetsfield was straining his voice so I commented on that. I didn't like this song but that doesn't mean I can't stand anything post 80's from the band . that's dumb criticism on your part. I actually enjoy songs from load and reload which is a minority for longtime Metallica fans.

Yeah seems like everyone dislikes everything Metallica does. St. Anger was one of my favorite albums I thought it had a nice twist of Metallica. The majority of people even disliked the movie they just made. I'm looking forward to the new album.

No. Stop after ...And Justice for All. Their best album.

I would have rather they stopped after the Black album. There are a few okay songs on Load/Reload, and a few from S&M, but for the most part a lot of the stuff is just unpleasant to listen to. Just because it's a new age, doesn't mean it doesn't suck.
