Statement game as in "We might be injured but we half reloaded."
As frusterating as it is to see Weedon check down all day, maybe it is best to stick with his underneath game. Leave the heroics to when Tony come back.

If that journeymans Randle can give us 80-plus yards, boy howdy, I am happy. Happier than a farmer with TWO subsidy checks. happier than a police department with a new supply of billy clubs. Happier than Jerra after he got his face lift. But I digress.

If Jerra can pull it all together, a solid, midrange passing game, 80-plus yards rushing with hep from the other journeymens and get our special teams to be consistent and get the defense to depend on its corners and blitz most of the day, I think we can emerge as 3-1.

Please endorse this post because I am feelink insecure.

Hey, why not have a rally down at town square in Farmers Branch ?? :)

I think it's going to be a long, hard Sunday night for us Cowboy fans.

Just reading their team's website, hearing their player interviews and reading comments from their fans, this game Sunday night is the game that they put it all out on the line for their season. It's already bleak for them at 0-3 but if they fall to 0-4 their season is pretty much over.

That place will be rockin' and in their minds, it's do or die. We are decimated by injuries and reeling after getting dominated in the 2nd half at home last week.

I hope I'm wrong and in any other circumstances I wouldn't feel this way but I don't feel very good about this game at all.

I feel the same. I'm thinking 34-20 saints.

NE is better and will win the game because they're healthier and they're better. This is not conceding, it's called being realistic.

No, it's conceding... All of the above may be true, but you never concede victory to your opponent before the battle.

If I was playing, my attitude would certainly be different because in my mind, I would be the difference maker, but since I'm just an observer, I have to be realistic and go with what my eyes tell me and what makes sense.

Hey, why not have a rally down at town square in Farmers Branch ?? :)

dang we would but we is running low on torchlights, searchlights and jack boots for the masses. Instead we is planning a mini putch tonight and Saturday at the local beer hall where we will rough up the Rotarians and assume control of the nearby telegraph office. That is if the mens are not too drunk to carry out das instructions.

Generally, the Cowboys don't have two bad games in a row.

Not to mention they haven't lost on the road since 2013.

why people are so afraid of Brees is a mystery.
A) he has clearly been in decline the last two years
B) he has lost his favorite receivers
C) his throwing arm has been weakening already and he is injured there as well

people have said all that, yet doesnt make it true. What does ring true is Dallas defense can make bad qbs look like pros. So it doesnt matter what we thnk. You also left out Sean Payton will keep putting Brees in position to do well.

For us, we survive off how the competition is. If our competition suck, we make them all star, if the team cant score, we help them out.
Sean Payton is going to play as "get teh ball across the end zone, i dont care who does it because 6 points is 6 points" Now we shoud look at that and throw everything agianst Brees, but we wont. We ll say well Brees can throw pretty good, put some guys back there in the hopes they can get a td" and that plan hardly works.

We need to get after Brees and keep going after Brees and when we are done we need to go after his descendants, but we dont do that. We play vs our competition, and not our game.

I want to make sure all the nay-sayers and hand-wringers see this, so I'm putting it in a few different threads:

Y'all are a little worried? Well, Saints fans are too. My son listens to a lot of local sports shows (he's a Pelicans fan.) He was listening to a local call-in show yesterday and reported to me that Saints fans are PLENTY worried about this game, even though they fully expected Brees to play.

Over 32% of people who go to NOLA.com (Times-Picayune website, New Orleans' primary newspaper) think the Cowboys will win

I was looking forward to really crushing them and paying Payton back for some of the beatings he put on us.

Now I just want the win.

My only question is how are we going to rush the qb? Who is going to provide the much needed sacks and hurries? Or will brees be comfortable back there like matt ryan and Eli?

I hope Corey White gets a pick 6 off of Brees.

Speaking of White, did he see the field on defense against the Falcons? Sorry if it seems like a stupid question but I recall times I saw him seated on the bench (when they showed shots of Romo, White could be seen behind him) when the D was on the field.

just because you want to slobber all over Brees does not make him the QB he was three years ago. How is that for truth?
