So it had nothing to do with the TDs we allowed to a hobbled Rodgers late in the game. Gotcha.

Talk about misplaced rueage.

If he scores on that play and doesn't fumble it probably wouldn't have mattered what Rodgers did. Because of that fumble we put ourselves in a position where Rodgers had a chance to beat us.

I have this sick feeling in my stomach, and I have had it ever since the outcome of that game. I feel as though that loss will haunt us the way the Skins loss haunted us last season.

We beat the Skins and we end up with the #1 seed and HFA throughout the playoffs. We get a bye week, and we still probably play Detroit, but could have also had Carolina, I believe. Then, we get the winner of the GB/Seattle game, after they have both beaten each other up......and we get the game in our friendly confines. I honestly believe that had we beaten the Skins, we would have played NE in the SB last year.

So, now onto NO. They are a suckfest of a team. We should have won the game. Had we done so, we would be 3-2 right now, 3-1 in the NFC, 2-0 in the NFC East. It would have bought us a little extra time to get Dez and Romo back. I am not so worried about the NFC East standings. I firmly believe we will beat the Giants and Eagles again. If Cassel can make some vertical passing plays and we can run the ball better, we can beat Seattle, and we should beat the Bucs. That would put us at 7-4......instead of 8-3. With Atlanta, Carolina, GB, and Arizona playing so well, that extra game can be a real killer when it comes to seeding.

as I said in my other post. we should be, yes should be 5-1 at this point. we should have beaten atlanta, we should have beaten NO and we should have beaten giants...three games that we could have easily won, yet we found ways to give each game away, with defensive, offensive, special team and coaching breakdowns.

at best, looking forward to next year's draft.

Well I think we can put talk of playoff seeding on the back burner now since it has become painfully obvious that we can't win a game without Romo

I actually thought Garrett could coach up this group to get just one single win, what the hell was I thinking......LOL

whatever you want to believe. DAL had an 8 pt lead after Murray scored his real TD, not his maybe TD.

The Defense laid down after that and gave up two long TD drives.
