I am amazed at the size of the video board. It's just insane!!! The more pics I see though the more excited I get! Thanks a bunch!

In the history of the NFL, has there ever been a stadium that wasn't completed on time?

The fact that the first event is going to be in June, I believe, means that the stadium is only 4 months from completion.

When I say "wasn't built on time", I mean that it wasn't ready when the team needed to play a game in it.

Yes, very exciting. At least when we are losing 56-3, we can marvel at it during the game. Great pics too!

maybe that would be a good thing. go back and play a game at TX stadium and actually win it this time.

Texas Stadium wasn't finished on time, was it. Weren't the first two home games played at the Cotton Bowl?

They said they're going to start giving season ticket holders tours of the finished stadium in July.

Its definitely something.

My creative mind doesnt like the following.

  • I dont like the overhanging lip around the outside at base of roof
  • I dont like that the mega videoboard is long and rectangle and has the smaller videoboards on the ends.
  • I certainly dont like the videoboard being supported by cables
Overall is pretty damn good - I just would have done some things differently

yeah and all the main work is done, I was watching something the other day and they were talking about how they are doing all the detailed stuff on the inside and that the scoreboard would be raised to its normal height when they completely lock down the arches.

I am praying that those cables are able to hold that huge videoboard without a glitch. I am literally praying about it. I also wonder how much that big board will block the overhead view of our "hole in the roof." There was nothing greater than seeing the camera closing in on Texas Stadium from above. Will the Taj Majerry have the same view so God can watch his favorite team?

Yea i kindof agree, something about it bugs me. The small boards on the ends look goofy and rigged. I also doubt players will be able to watch the replays if they are on the field. And i think it will created tons of odd shadows. But it is an original idea and different and may turn out to be real cool, so we will see.
