... so whats everyone going to do tonight?

As for me... stay home and stay out of trouble and out of harms way.

Here in Tampa Fireworks are legal. They sell them on every the street corner. Around 7 PM the fireworks started going off and they haven't stopped yet. It's 1AM and they still haven't stopped yet.

Man this place is loud!

I thought the 4th of July was over the top... man, this place is crazy on new years eve.

It's like a war zone.

:laugh1:

We have darn near burn the place down.

Some one make it stop.

:)

We just stayed home and watched Eddie Murphy Raw. I had never seen it and it was 4.99 at Best Buy. We're not fond of being out on the roads on New Years Eve, too many horror stories and drunk drivers.

I went to a party with my wife at a friends house. I don't drink often, in fact I haven't drank heaviy since last New Years.

But I got smashed last night. I have no idea how much I drank, but I remember more than a few Jack and Cokes, I also poilished off a half of a bottle of Grey Goose and had at least two jager bombs.

My wife seldom drinks either, she was heaving last night.

Only downside to it all was the aweful air matrice we had to sleep on.

We got the baby to bed and I went to do a few things around the house that I had been putting off. I look up and it's about 10 minutes until midnight, so I keep an eye on the clock in the kitchen and head out to the tv to watch the ball drop at a few minutes beforehand....

.....only to find out that midnight has come and gone and the clocks in our kitchen were 5 minutes slow.

I spent NYE over a friend's house. We watched movies and had pizza. Then watched the Dick Clark's show. It was fun.

They'd been popping fireworks all night in her neighborhood, so when they got even louder and whatnot, we just noted that it was louder and kept on talking. Not even paying attn to the clock.

Finally, I looked at my phone from getting all these text messages. Turns out it was 12:05. Oops.
