It's not only that, but the corners behind Reeves on the roster are far worse. So if you let him go, you're relying on either those corners who are worse or finding a rookie corner in the draft to replace him. Plus, we'd better hope that neither Newman or Henry get hurt.

On the flip side, if you get Reeves cheap, you can still have the intentions of making him the #4 CB and also get him back on special teams coverage, where he's pretty good and Dallas needs help.

I don't see the problem with expecting a 1st round draft pick corner to be able to play nickel corner.
